“Clean and Close to the Beach and Bar Scene”

I recommend the Sea Esta 1 for anyone who is looking for a clean place to shower and sleep that is close to the beach and the Dewey bar scene. However, it is definitely a no frills kind of motel. If you're planning on spending a lot of time in the room, this probably isn't the place for you. Very few outlets and a small bathroom, but they do provide a mini refrigerator and microwave which is a nice bonus. I would stay here again.

“Sea esta review!!!”

Not a high recommendation for this hotel! Dirty bed linens with dog hair everywhere! Remember to look for pet allowance when booking a hotel! All sea esta's allow pets! The only benefit is that it was along the beach side! Would not stay again!

“cheap and adequate”

it was certainly no high quality motel. upkeep of rooms was lacking. bathroom needed a good thorough cleaning, walls etc. it was cheap and walking distance to beach and shops and restaurants. if you don’t have high expectations, you won’t be disappointed.

“Not bad...”

Serves a purpose--good rate and location. Certainly nothing fancy, but not too bad.

“Small rooms but family of 4 would be comfortable”

We had stayed at this hotel several years ago and it has improved since then, We love the location, so close to the beach, food and shops. And they allow pets, which is the main reason we selected it. The rooms are clean the bathrooms are dated but clean. They have a small refirgerator, microwave and coffee maker. TV wasn't the best but Hey you are at the beach!! I would stay there again. It isn't a top rated luxury hotel, just a good clean place to sleep while at a beautiful clean beach and only a short drive or bike ride from Rehoboth. And don't forget the Outlets...I hated to leave and can't wait to go back.

“good room to sleep”

Room appeared clean. Carpet could be cleaner, and there is no counter space in the bathroom so getting ready can be a hassle. Good room for price but only if you plan to not be inside most of the time.

“Not for the persnickety”

For being only a block from the beach at Dewey, it gave fair-to-good value for the money. It was shabby. The bathroom sink had no stopper, and cracks in the finish had been mended and painted over. But it was quite clean. The only housekeeping that was apparent during our two-night stay was fresh towels each day. Used drinking glasses weren't replaced and beds weren't made. That was o.k. with me, but people who like to go out leaving their room a mess and return later to find it in pristine condition with a chocolate on the pillow will be very disappointed. The person at the reception desk was pleasant and checking in took only a few minutes. There are adequate places to eat within walking distance. The Jolley Trolley picks up near the hotel and transports to the boardwalk at Rehoboth Beach and back for $5 a person. I would recommend this motel to some friends, but not to others, depending on whether economy or luxury is their priority.
