DirtyPosted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: The staff was nice
Cons: See experience. Overall try cleaning the room.
Dirty, dirty, dirty. My non-smoking room smelled like it had been used by many smokers. The room was dusty and stray hair could be found all over the bathroom. The faucet to the shower was broken. I found food wrappers behind the end table when I went to find a spare outlet. The internet connection would only stay connected for 30 seconds before kicking me off. I had to kill a spider on the wall in the morning. Overall very displeased.

Nice inn, close to a major highway.Posted Apr 3, 2014
Pros: they upgraded us to a suite, so there was two TV's, 2 bathrooms. Cool
Cons: Not much
Location: good location. go to the race track and watch nascar.
We came in for the nascar race in martinsville, the front desk people were very helpful for directions to the track and also with restaurant recommendations and directions.

Pros: THE MOMENT THAT I LEFT
Cons: ALL OF IT....CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS...NOT CHEAP COVERUPS
Location: I WENT BECAUSE OF NASCAR...ONLY BECAUSE OF NASCAR
FIRST OF ALL, I WAITED UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO BOOK A HOTEL ROOM FOR THE RACE! INITIALLY MY WIFE BOOKED A ROOM WITH TWO DOUBLE BEDS BC MYSELF AND A CO-WORKER WERE GOING TOGETHER TO SEE THE RACE..... MY WIFE WORKS IN THE HOTEL INDUSTRY SO SHE DOES KNOW WHAT SHE IS DOING. UPON ARRIVAL, MY RESERVATION WAS FOR A KING ROOM, WHICH WAS NOT HAPPENING, LUCKILY, THE HOTEL STAFF WAS ABLE TO MOVE UP TO THEIR LAST ROOM WITH TWO DOUBLE BEDS..... NOW I KNOW WHY IT WAS THEIR LAST! THE PTAC UNIT WAS HORRIBLE AND OUT DATED, I WOULD OF SLEPT BETTER SLEEPING OUTSIDE IN THE POURING DOWN RAIN. SECONDLY, THERE WAS A GIGANTIC BLEACH(FRESH) STAIN ON THE CARPET THAT THE HOTEL TRIED TO MASK BY SPRAYPAINTING THE CARPET...YES.....SPRAY PAINTED THE CARPET.......I PAID $115 FOR THE NIGHT, PLUS TAXES BC I WAS A DUMMY AND DIDN'T HAVE ANOTHER HOTEL TO GO TO....NEXT TIME I WILL TAKE MY CHANCES SLEEPING IN MY CAR! FYI....I KNOW THAT IT IS NOT NECESSARILY THE EMPLOYEES FAULT AS TO THE CONDITION OF THE ROOM...THEY ARE ONLY DOING WHAT THEY ARE TOLD TO DO BY OWNERS AND GENERAL MANAGERS WHO LIKE TO CUT CORNERS IN THE HOTEL INDUSTRY TO AVOID SPENDING MONEY..... A MAID CAN ONLY CLEAN THE ROOM AS GOOD AND AS LONG AS THEY ARE GIVEN THE PROPER TIME TO CLEAN IT AND A MAINTENANCE PERSON CAN ONLY FIX THE PROBLEMS, WHEN THEY HAVE THE CORRECT ITEMS TO FIX THE PROBLEM WITH....OBVIOUSLY BLEACH AND SPRAYPAINT ARE NOT APPRORIATE ITEMS TO FIX A STAIN IN THE CARPET WITH! SHAME ON YOU UPPER MANAGEMENT

Plan to go back in near future!Posted Jun 2, 2011
Staff was eager to please and make our stay perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was conveniently located. Any problems where taken care of immediately. We plan to make it our hotel of choice when visiting the area. Prices are reasonable.

Southern Hospitality & Comfort!Posted Sep 9, 2010
Upon arriving I found the place right off of the exit, and well lit. Yes it was a 25 minute drive from Greensboro for me, but well worth it. The little lady at the desk was over 80 years old and was truly amazing! She was so nice and hospitable, and set the mood for my stay. My room was on the interstate side, which at first concerned me, but I never noticed the traffic noise. The room was clean, had a big tv, and my car was parked right outside of my room. Overall, this place was very nice for the price I paid! There isn't much around the area unfortunately, but within 5 minutes I had any type of dining I wanted. I asked the little lady at the desk and she recommended I could order in pizza from about 4 different places, and I opted for the local place instead of the chain. Not a chain hotel, but still AAA approved. I looked at the other places, and I can see why people have said what they have said, but out of all of them this was the most lit up parking lot, safest looking place in the town. Glad I chose to drive the 25 minutes from where I normally stay in Greensboro, it's just not safe anymore in Greensboro.

We arrived to find our room(non-smoking) reeking of cigarette smoke, a very dirty floor, drapes that didn't quite close and a door that even when locked was warped as if it had been kicked in at sometime. The maintenance man worked hard to rid the room of the smoke odor, but it's in the rug, the chairs and heater/fan. We stayed only because it was too late to go anywhere else. The advertised "Continental Breakfast" consisted of a few bagels, a few slices of bread and a toaster. Oh yes, there was a carafe of coffee, but only one. I suggest that this Inn either close for major repairs or be taken off the Expedia list.
