Stay in Champagne countryside
The path that leads to the hotel is really not that obvious, I suggest that they put up a bigger sign to indicate its entrance. The room is small and the interior has an old look. The mattress is old and the back can feel the springs. The electric kettle is rusty, fortunately the front desk lady provided us a cleaner looking one. The rooms are badly soundproofed. The guests above arrived at midnight and the noice they made above our heads woke us up and lasted for half hour. And the next morning woke us up! The good thing is the location, just 5 minutes away from our destination Hautvillers, the berceau of the Champagne wine, where one finds good restaurants and wineries.

Value for money. Friendly welcome.
Typical Campanile hotel, you know what what you're getting - clean and comfortable and reasonable vfm. Room 37 had a slight odour of cigarette smoke but nothing overwhelming. Breakfast was very good, definitely recommended and service atvthe reception desk was very friendly both upon checking in and checking out.

Friendly staff, comfy bed.
During Covid, staff were careful and in good humour. Bed comfy but our first room smelled of cigarette smoke And the hairdryer didn’t work in the second room. Waiting staff were excellent and breakfast was good

The room was a little dated and in need of decorating but the on site restaurant was a bonus. Especially on a Sunday evening when most other local restaurants are closed. Very helpful staff.

A good place to stay for a visit to Epernay
Reception at the hotel was quick and easy. The hotel staff were very polite and friendly. The room was clean and tidy and had air conditioning, so it was comfortable to sleep. The location is very close to Epernay, with an easy, 5 minute, drive into the centre.

A good no frills hotel
Everything one could expect from a budget priced hotel. King sized bed was a bonus. Staff pleasant and helpful. Room clean and comfortable and well appointed. Plenty of parking. Good restaurant. Free Wi-Fi. Excellent value for money

The Hotel Lobby closes at 11 pm
The lobby closes at 11:00 pm and nobody answers the phone, so we had to stay elsewhere and loose our paid reservations here.

Basic hotel filled our needs when visiting eperney. Not quite an ibis irtravelodge but for the money couldnt complain. If you are from the uk you may struggle to use a uk plug adaptor due to tge siting of the plugs.

You get what you pay for
The hotel is nice enough. Breakfast was disappointing. Dinner at the restaurant was good. Kevin at the front desk was amazing and incredibly helpful. But, the room was very basic. Beds were not very comfy. Light switches right on the headboard meant lights get turned on if you or your pillow touches the switch. AC has to be running all the time to prevent a funny, musty smell. Rooms are not very soundproof. Not very close to Epernay proper-not walkable. For the price, it worked, but we wouldn't stay again. We would personally prefer to pay a bit more for more comfort and convenience.

Cheap&simple: perfect for an on-the-road stopover.
This is a simple, but perfectly ok hotel, to stay at if you are passing by Epernay by car. It is actually more of a motel than a hotel, situated right by the road. We spent the night on our way west, and were happy with our stay. It was clean, which is probably the most important to me. The mattresses are horrible though, so stay away if you have back issues.

An ideal location for visiting the Champagne area.
We selected this for an overnight stop between Switzerland and Calais but plan returning for a long weekend to revisit the Champagne area. It is perfectly situated on close to the many Champagne houses in Epernay and on the scenic Cahampagne route and adjacent to the vineyards. The staff were very polite and welcoming. The restaurant was an additional bonus serving a very good buffet breakfast and the evening meals was excellent.

VERY HAPPY. I CAN'T FAULT THIS SUPERB HOTEL.
VERY GOOD AMPLE PARKING ALLOWED LATE CHECK OUT UNTIL 2PM. FOOD WAS VERY GOOD WE HAD A MEDIUM RARE STEAKS COOKED TO PERFECTION VERY COLD DAY BUT ROOM WAS VERY WARM.

Great location next to the rhone
This is a lovely location for this budget hotel with spacious and clean rooms and neat shower rooms. The staff were very pleasant and the meal in the restaurant was very convenient and acceptable, I would definitely recommend this place. Cycling along the Rhone is very pleasant too and literally right outside the front door.

Hotel in good location for champagne tasting
The hotel was quite a way out of Epernay but easy to find, despite the entry being through a housing estate. The location is however good for a trip round the champagne houses. The rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable. The most disappointing thing was the restaurant where the meals seem over priced for what you get and the selection is poor. The revamped restaurants are clinical and cold compared to the old homely atmospheres.

stopped in this hotel last minute during a business trip, the hotel is about 30-40 minute walk from city center, nice little hotel, service was kind and welcoming, the room was a little stuffy and old, internet was horribly slow, on the upside the surrounding view is magnificent and breakfast was great.
