Pros: Very quiet.
This is a very nice, old school hotel on a quiet street away from the main tourist area (about a 10 min walk). It has a 19th century feel, with all the walls wallpapered every where. The furniture is period appropriate. There are only 20 rooms, and ours was quite ample and comfortable. Even the ceiling was covered in a red, pleated material, with a chandelier. Very interesting. The bathroom was modern, but ours had no shower, but did have a huge tub. There is an indoor pool in the basement that we enjoyed. Being away from the main tourist area meant we got to try a couple of restaurants (especially Le Dix Sept) that we would have missed but which were excellent. I'd stay there again.

Pleasant StayPosted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: Clean rooms with most amenities.
Cons: Would recommend that rooms include a coffee-maker.
Location: Visit the city's historic places; Reims Cathedral, Roman Gate.
Hotel was situated in a quiet area not too far from the major attractions. Nice accomodations and friendly staff made the trip that more enjoyable.

Gracious Hotel with Faded GrandeurPosted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: The helpful staff, ols style comfort and gated parking
Cons: I like it as is.
Location: The cathedral was only 10 minutes walk away and well worth the visit
A lovely old style hotel with well appointed rooms and within easy walking distance of the cathedral. The staff were friendly and helpful. Private parking was a bonus. In a rush to get to Calais we did not take breakfast but a large pot of coffee was good value and excellent quality. Would be very happy to use again,

This is a quaint but slightly dated hotel. The staff was great and the room was comfortable. The location is quiet but a bit of a walk to the local restaurants and nightlife in Reims. But if you rate a hotel by the brands of cars in the car park, this is first rate.

Quiet stayPosted Aug 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good though brief stay. Easy walk to the town centre where there is a great choice of good restaurants. Shame we were not able to use the pool facilities. Great to have secure parking in the town centre. Breakfast could be improved.

Nice hotel 15 minute walk to main area in ReimsPosted Aug 23, 2013
The decor is very French and busy, we tried the pool which was absolutely freezing. Breakfast is a bit expensive for what it is, better to go to a local bakery.

Great hotelPosted Aug 9, 2013
I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Although the room was microscopic, it was still comfortable and very clean. The hotel staff also was really helpful with our needs. Our airline lost our luggage during this trip and the hotel provided us with the essentials when we needed them. They also went above and beyond in helping us print out train tickets, holding on to our luggage (once we got them) for our last day in the city, etc.

Quaint quiet French HotelPosted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: Free parking and good location. Comfortable room.
Cons: Patchy wi-fi.
Location: Quite and dark at night. Close to cafes and restaurants if you like a short walk - 5 minutes
This was a lovely little French Hotel on a quiet side street. Plenty of secure free parking behind the hotel. The staff were very helpful and so friendly and cheerful. They coped superbly with our complete lack of French. The rooms were a good size and the bathrooms has separate shower and bath. A good quality breakfast available . Free internet - signal could be a bit patchy at times. The only bit of helpful advice to the Hotel would be that it probably is time for new carpet in the rooms. All was very nice. Just a short walk to cafes and restaurants .

Great location and free parkingPosted Jul 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Photos online do not do this hotel justice. Wonderful stay, quiet nights, and free secure parking. The perfect place for a getaway with friends. Additional night requests were accommodated for our whole group. Within walking distance to city center, amazing dining options, and Saturday farmer's market.

Location and charmPosted Jun 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is charming and staff very helpful. Within walking distance of the beautiful cathedral .The room and bath room were clean and comfortable. To make it even better I would remove the two large chairs and add more lighting -a s we like to read. Great value for the money - would recommend.
