Cheap hotel. Small room and shower/toilet room.Posted Nov 19, 2013
Pros: Easy access. Parking.
Cons: Housekeeping. Improve service.
Location: Historic city with plenty of sites to visit. Lovely countryside and real champagne to drink.
The good: Not noisy. Easy parking. Nice sheets and towels. OK for one night stay. The bad: No one is ever there to help you at the reception desk. Since there is no phone in room, no one can contact you or leave a message. The ugly: Poor housekeeping. Dingy/dirty bedspread. Room not vacuumed once during a 7 days stay. No pillowcase for 3 days. ( Pillow was tucked under sheet.)

Terrible nightPosted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Looks ok from the outside, don't bother going in though.
Cons: How about cleaning it and rparing the stuff that is broken.
Location: No idea apart from the restaurants.
Hotel looks good from the outside. However it all changes once you find reception. The reception is not welcoming and nor was the male member of staff, felt like we were an inconvenience to him as we arrived later that expected. Keys given to us for the room, that was up two flights of stairs and not offered to help with bags etc. On opening the door, we were both very disappointed with the decor and comfort level. And the en suite facilities were even worse. The basin was cracked although did seem to be clean like the toilet bowl, the shower however was not clean at all. I doubt if it had been cleaned this year. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and to switch off the light above each pillow you needed to have 4 foot long arms or get out of bed (Pointless)!!! We decided to leave early morning without having a shower as neither of us wanted to stand in it. A good restaurant close by was a very welcome respite from the yucky hotel room.

Good, budget hotelPosted Apr 25, 2013
Pros: The price, free wifi and parking
Cons: small rooms
Location: on retail park a few miles from city centre
For the very low price its ideal for travellers who want to stay near Rheims but not necessarily go into the city. It's on a retail park and close to Aldi, plenty of eating places nearby but can recommend the Pizza restaurant. Very pleasant receptionist. Continental Breakfast 6 Euros, very basic. Room small but clean. No English channels on TV. Wifi free. Shampoo toiletries in bathroom, v efficient shower. On Rue de Commerce but not the road of the same name actually in Rheims, better to enter the postcode in to a satnav. Plenty of free, secure parking around the hotel.

My family and I were somewhat concerned about our safety. There were no employees on site until Mon. morning, and there were no intermediate locks on the building, only our room locks. The area was industrial and there were no people around. We would not have chosen the site if we had known that in advance.
