Friendly and helpfull manageress. Gave us the inside track on where to taste the best champagnes. Quiet location, nice little patio to enjoy evening drinks or sunny breakfast

Located a 10 minute drive out of Chalon, the Ibis is not ideally placed and has nothing in the nearby vicinity for a guest. At the time of my stay, the whole reception area was being worked on and any improvement can only help. But the rooms were comfortable and the food was good, breakfast was basic.

Great overnight stayPosted May 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Bed so comfortable that I was able to have a good nights sleep. Free wi-fi a big plus. Main public rooms being refurbished but an other area available for the restaurant causing no inconvenience to guests. I look forward to staying there again and seeing the new decorations.

Difficult to locate the hotel by Sat-Nav as the address was not identified. The address needs clarifying, apparently many other guests had the same problem

Cons: Getting back to the autoroute
Location: Good, on the outskirts just off 'ring road'. In an estate of office buildings and access to hotel is on exit from estate
We were travelling back from the south of France and stayed one night. It is on the outskirts of a lovely town. After a short stop in the town centre we drove off to find the hotel and did so without too much trouble though you have to drive around the office estate to find it. It is a strange drive back to the autoroute, going through streets which don't look like main roads. Hotel itself is ideal for a stopover. Comfortable ample sized room, nice bar & lounging area, excellent breakfast. There are no closeby restaurants so you have to eat inhouse but food is actually very good. All staff were very helpful. We would go back.
