Comfortable, clean hotel with awesome views!

Wonderful views of the Rhine with boat tours nearby. Staff spoke English and were very friendly and helpful.Rooms were very clean and comfortable.The food in the hotel restaurant was fresh and very well prepared, and I would highly recommend trying it.The only complaint was that sometimes the restaurant within the hotel would be closed because of a private function. There is, however, an excellent Hungarian restaurant within walking distance. Other than the Hungarian restaurant,the hotel is a little secluded, so be prepared to drive or else enjoy the peace and quiet! We were there for the German Grand Prix race at Nurburgrin,which is about 1-1.5 hours drive.

VERY DISAPPOINTED in the hotel, but you may be able to experience a different situation. We booked a double room with an extra bed for our daughter, and did not receive the extra bed. You better show up before the staff leave, because they will not be returning to the hotel to help you out. It was nice to have our key waiting in a secure box, but it was very clear that we got there late 1900 and they were not going to come for any reason. Other than the pitiful service and lack of a bed for our daughter the stay was sufficient. If you are a couple or single, you will find the hotel a pleasant experience.

Good hotel for the money

The location of the hotel is excellent (close to the river Rhine and to a small forest behind the hotel). The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was relatively small, but clean and comfortable. One small problem was that the hotel did not have a laundry/dry-cleaning service.
