Dirty, noisy, but affordable

Posted May 4, 2015
The staff was super friendly, and the check-in was quick and easy, coffee and refrigerator in the room was great; that's where the good qualities end. The toilet didn't work, so our first impression on the room was calling the front desk after it flooded. The carpets were so disgusting we put blankets down so we didn't have to walk on the floor, and I don't know what ick was in the walls. They allow dogs, which is great, but I wish there was a separate hall for doggie visitors because there were dogs barking next door all night. And I think there are permanent residents living there because there was a party going on outside our window by the pool, they had cases of beer and BBQ out until midnight. Did not get a good night sleep! And will not stay here again.

Pros: Location
Cons: Too numerous to list.
The staff was very rude and not helpful nor gracious. We are used to a little pampering when we do get to get away. The directions given were not succinct and we were not told about parking. Also a breakfast was supposed to be included and we were not told about it at all. We were denied a one hour early check-in thus when we returned from out venue it was late and we had to take out luggage etc. to room. Just a pretty bad experience overall.

Nice Hotel, close to the Airport

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Quiet, clean and keenly priced.
Cons: Creating an easy procedure for connecting pc's to the television; proved to be a bit of a challenge.
Location: I hired a car, so was able to get about. So I found a few nice cafes in the downtown area to try. Even found some great coffee.
I was in Reno visiting friends and needed something that was reasonably priced and closeby. The hotel has good internet speeds, so I could keep up to date with correspondence. Breakfast was supplied as part of the package and was served in the adjoining hotel. While not the most modern hotel, the facilities were clean and functional

Don't Stay Here

Posted Apr 22, 2015
Dark, industrial, unsafe area! Smells funny, dark halls, safety doors don't lock; non smoking room wreaked of smoke and more; no parking in lot OR on surrounding streets. Felt VERY unsecure!

old hotel

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: breakfast.
Cons: replacing old parts in the room like the bathroom sink
Location: close to downtown and to the convention center where we went for my daughter's volleyball.
As soon as you step in the hotel, the building smells old. The elevator is so slow its faster to use the stairs to reach the top floor. The front desk staff and breakfast are okay. The bathroom's sink looks like its about to fall if you put heavy stuff on it. The next room's occupant was snoring so loud, we cannot sleep well because we heard it through the night.

Location: near the Grand Sierra Casino
cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception staff was just the opposite rude and not friendly at all.
