Airport hotel with great staff and poor facilities

Very helpful and kind staff. Facilities, however, are old and worn. Lots is cobbled-together room items that included TV that didn't work. Won't stay there again.

Cons: happy hour didn't happen as advertised.
Really nice comfortable room. Staff very helpful with special needs person. I have a small dog and it was perfect for her too. Also the restaurant has good food.

Good hotel

Pros: Reasonable rates and close to the event location
Cons: I couldn't move the showerhead direction (being short in stature) and without a shower cap (which I thought would be provided) my hair became very wet
Location: Close to GSR. was attending line dance event and didn't have time to do anything else.
It was clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Thursday and Friday night were fine, but Saturday night was a little noisy with many people coming and going and the room was close to the entrance of the building.

Nice hotel right across from the Reno airport

Pros: Staff was very helpful. Hotel is very close to the airport. The courtyard is very pretty and has tables and chairs to use when it's not raining.
Cons: The refrigerator was off when we arrived, so check it right away.
Location: Reno is fairly small, so the downtown casinos are not far. Skiing at Mt. Rose is 25 minutes away.
The check in staff was extremely helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent! Proximity to the airport was very helpful.

Choose Another Hotel

Pros: Not much.
Cons: All that I mentioned.
Hotel is very close to the Highway so many of the rooms are noisy. Fire alarm activated for no reason at 3am. Walls are thin so you can hear door closings etc. Reported of this to the front desk clerk who couldn't care less. Zero customer service.

This was a great hotel for the price! I honestly usually spend a little more on a hotel but this was a trip where I knew that all I would be doing there was sleeping so I just wanted something cheap and clean. It delivered that and more. The staff was so friendly, especially the shuttle drivers. Free shuttle to and from airport was great. I was working as a vendor at the convention center so I was about to call a taxi to take me there. They also have a free shuttle to the Atlantis casino which is right next to the Atlantis so they also gave me a free ride to the convention center. Wow!! Very happy with this hotel.

Worst Hotel Experience

Rooms were old and dirty. Toilet did not flush not stop running. I had to place my hand in tank to stop water from running. Towels were so old and smelly. Front desk personnel were not helpful. In fact, when the bell man was in our room to try to fix toilet I overheard front desk personnel talking about me in Spanish. She was not saying nice things about me. I told bell man I spoke Spanish and he almost fell over. Never asked to change rooms. To make things even worse, our room was not made up on the last day. Got back from our event at 10:45 PM to a dirty room, unmade beds, and trash everywhere. Terrible experience. Expedia was not helpful either! I called waited on line 30 minites after explaining situation only to be hung up on. Never again with best western or expedia.
