Boomtown hotelPosted Mar 4, 2015
Cons: Bedding, and shower, and put brochures in room, for room service if any, or for up coming events if any, and a phone book,
Location: I dont know , stayed in room, and there wasn't any brochures for info on things to do, we ate at restaurant across town.
Very disappointing, I was disappointed how the bed was made ,iit didn't even have a fitted sheet on it , one top sheet , and no comforter, and stains on mattress, and no comforter, The shower was terrible, hard to control.

nice staff but>>>>Posted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: close to Cabelas nice staff
Cons: hotel bathroom cleanliness and better beds
Location: the location is good there's all sorts of attractions from shopping to gambling to outdoor activities .
The expedia experience was really good I made a mistake and was able to correct it pretty easily . The Hotel and casino staff was very nice . The fact that the luggage carts can only be used by the valet staff is really annoying . I didn't eat at the casino so I cant comment on that . I do have to say that I am a little disappointed it the cleanliness of the room. the bathroom had some foul stains on the wall above the toilet and also in the shower on the ceiling . I didn't like to see these stain but my sweetheart was really offended . The other thing I had an issue with is the bed was absolutely terrible and not comfortable . If I didnt like Boomtown so much and the close proximity to Cabelas I probably wouldn't stay here again .

DisappointedPosted Jan 31, 2015
First night they put us in the south tower: stained couch, lumpy sunk in bed on each side, no tv remote & heater rattled. I spoke with management in the morning and they upgraded us to a huge suite that was clean and comfortable - still in the south tower. No comforters on the bed. They use a sheet on top of a thin blanket and then another sheet. Stayed here years ago in the north tower which is remodeled and it was great. Cocktail waitress came once every 45 min. Very disappointed. Craig the manager was very accommodating, but his front desk staff is dismissive - specifically Karen. Didn't let me say more then 10 words (and I was being very polite), cut me off and said "do you want a manager?". Needs customer service training. Why would you put guests in your old, gross south tower on a Tuesday, Wednesday when you have an empty parking lot and plenty of nice rooms in the north tower. Not a good impression. Sorry Boomtown, never again.

Cheap room on the fly, paid for it in the endPosted Jan 26, 2015
Having never stayed here, when the comparable rate came up to our usual... We gave it a try. The linens were clean and the bed was comfortable to sit on... sleeping was a whole different experience. My family was all up every hour or so and greeted with a sore body and aching back the following day. We also had black mold in our shower. Counter staff is friendly enough but not informative. Every other staff member we encountered was sub par. Not friendly, no eye contact. We won't be back.

The room was kind of dirty and the heat/air fan was very loud. The lobster buffet is a rip-off. No claws just chewy tails.

You get what you pay for... its not bad and has a comfy bed for the stay. We did find someone else's dirty underwear in our bathroom so I'd say they didnt do an excellent job of cle but it was fine for a 3 day weekend. Had a bit of fun in thegame area plating pool too
