“Nice hotel in a convenient location”

For the price, this is a great hotel off the beaten track. The rooms are updated, stylish and very clean. The fun center is great for kids and the casino is a fun experience for the adults. The hotel is also off of highway 80 on the way to the north side of Lake Tahoe so is very convenient if you plan on spending some time around Truckee and Tahoe.

“Pleasant surprise”

The hotel was very clean, comfortable,quiet. It was pleasant surprise for us. The service was also nice, everything was on time. We enjoyed the atmosphere in the hotel and casino, and live music . The room was pretty big,big enough for the family. We had two beds in our room. Sheets, blankets ,towels were very clean ,beautiful desing . Tv ,wine celler, coffer maker -also very good addition to our stay in Boomtown .

The room was clean and quiet. It was very restful. Denny's is nearby so there was good food within walking distance of the room. I tried the buffet the last time and is was good for the value. I walked through the game room for the kids. It looked like a lot of fun for families.

I stayed at Boomtown approxmately five years-ago. I would only stay there as a last resort and the restaurant service was the pitts, never to return. Boy, was I surprised. The room was great, north tower, bottom floor. The Boomtown resturant is now a "Denny's" and the service was outstanding and the food very reasonable. The Lobster Buffet was great, a little expensive but, many food chocies. It has really changed now five years later. The rooms, carpet, and interior are clean and have a fresh look. There is now space to walk in the casino floor where before it was dirty, crowded, and smokey. I was given many casino/hotel coupons upon check-in, which I used and saved a lot of money. I recommend Boomtown now to anyone. It is now a new casino/hotel.

The hotel was not very busy during the midweek, but by the weekend it was. The room was very clean and comortable. We had a leak at the bathroom sink, but within 5 minutes of calling the front desk a maintenance man was in our room fixing it. The staff was friendly and worked hard to make sure our stay was a good one.
