Good location but bad rooms

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Positives : Staff, parking space , location Negatives : Room quality , cleanliness , distance from parking . No bank ATM's nearby I stayed 1 night in this hotel and I rate this hotel as average . This is centrally located in reno and most of the major casino's are in walkable distance. Parking space is free and they have separate building to accomodate all cars . Staff is good they give all info you wanted . If I go to negative section main is cleanliness. The moment I opened the door of the room bad smell (wet carpet smell )came. It was so bad I had put AC for 15-20 mins to reduce that smell . Water was dripping from upper floor AC continuously on the window glass. The parking location and stay is far atleast for walk . If you want to carry lots of luggages then valet parking is better .

Not so great

This hotel is very hot and very confusing. There is NOT a pool which is a must when traveling in the summer with children. I will never stay there again.

Convenient if you bring the kids.

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: very little if nothing. Staff was nice and friendly specially front desk.
Cons: Beds, Showers and more kid friendly entertainment w/out having to spend so much money to keep them busy while one of us try to enjoy gambling.
Location: centrally and closely located to Silver Legacy and El Dorado and other stores. A good walk to the river to take the kids to breath fresh air.
We chose Circus because we had our 7 year old grandson with us for the wk end. It was convenient because you don't have to cross streets to get to the "Circus", arcade area or food establishments. We did not eat at the Circus Restaurants so can't comment. The casino wont give any promotions or incentives/rewards when you get the card for first time like the other casinos. Money doesn't last enough to entertain in the slot machines compared to the other 2 adjacent casinos. No baby sitting service whatsoever and NO POOL! so you get stuck with entertaining the kids while spending money in the arcade only. The shower head is the worse I have experienced in years!. mostly air and a little bit of water. the bed shakes like a skateboard on springs and mostly firm, aka hard.

Cleaniness of the room.

Posted Jun 26, 2015
There was an empty capri sun package behind the one dresser. It was there our whole stay. The sheets were thin and shredded. There was toilet paper pieces on the floor in the bathroom. Complained about it.

Always our first choice of Hotels

Posted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: The willingness to accommodate special requests.
Cons: The smell of the trash by the elevators was a little overwhelming. Perhaps air freshener next time??
Location: We only went for a doctors appointment. But there are MANY MANY MANY places to go SHOPPING SHOPPING SHOPPING!
We have stayed at this hotel for years and is always our first choice. This visit was for a doctor appointment and the hotel was extremely accommodating like always. I was post surgical and asked for a room close to the elevator due to the walk. The manager made sure I got a room within a few short steps. This particular weekend was the State Rodeo finals and they were booked to the max, the main street was closed for vendors, bands and lots of good food. But, our room was located where we never heard anything and was comfortable the entire stay! Will be returning next month and will choose this hotel again. I was also impressed with the restaurant. I ordered their famous chicken pot pie and the taste was a little "off". The waitress told me that it was the last one and they ran short on ingredients so added some sweet potatoes to the filling. I just figured next time I would not order this and when we got the bill my ordered was completely removed. I appreciated their genuine efforts to please!! (They always have excellent food especially breakfast items!)

Work on cleanliness and over all staff attitude . I'm sorry if it's 5am and ur tired don't take it out on your guests if you want business you need to discuss with your staff at desk

A large motel

Posted Jun 23, 2015
A great cheap stop if you need a place for the night. Looking a bit old and tired now. Reno itself was a bit of ghost town too (I was there on a Sunday night, so that might have been it). I wouldn't recommend staying there longer than a night.
