“GOOD PLACE FOR THE PRICE, GOOD LOCATION.”
NEEDS TO GET STARTED ON PLANNED RENOVATIONS! IT SHOWS IT'S AGE A NEED FOR UPDATES!
“Felt right at home”
I always stay there when in Reno. Close to the airport, the freeway, and the city. The staff made you fell at home by checking on you throughout the casino to see if there was anything that they do for you. It wasn't just the waitress or slot staff, it was mid management walking around and acknowledging you. This is very helpful to obtain the answer to questions if you had any. The staff is very professional towards their work. It just a great place to stay and so much to do without leavng the facility.
“grand sierra reno”
convenient to airport
“Rooms and Hotel are dirty, rooms 70s decor, hallways filthy, check in staff were rude.”
the motel looked so Grand on line. Looked Great from Parking lot. Once inside dingy dirty and smokey. Staff were rude at checkin and lacked knowlege and oviously did not like people or thier jobs. Lobby are was nice with bronze sculpture so I hoped for nice rooms! Once to our floor oh my filthy outdated decor from 70s carpet totally worn out, stenciling on the walls. Inside room was clean but minimal with 70s decor and furnishings, old tv with poor reception and not even a coffee pot! 3 thin towels. Beds were fine and linens were clean, first day there left $21 dollars next to my purse maid must of assumed it was a tip? for what im not sure?. View was beautiful from the Parking lot. and the rest of the motel was nice as it had many resturaunts, shopping ect. Staff in the rest of motel were fine. this wasnt a cheap motel so expected it to be nicer. I would not stay again.

“lots of comfort”
The room is wonderfully large, the bed very comfortable, and the view over the city is nice. I only wish there was a coffee maker in the room. But the room service continental bkfst is inexpensive and promptly served. All in all I love this hotel - and when traveling I use the shuttle service - a 5-10 minute drive to the airport.
“Great value”
We were sketical at first with this hotel but made the reservation for a std room since the price was very attractive. We were very happy. Room was clean and comfortable and aircon/heating control was working very well. The bowling center was nice and we had a great time there. We brought our golf clubs along and tried the driving range 200 yards from the hotel. It was our first attempt hitting into the water so we enjoyed it. We also did the go-kart. It was ok. We had our Thanksgiving dinner at the Lodge (buffet). The selection was definitely fewer than Toucan in Alantis. Quality was surprising better so we would go for the Lodge given the next opportunity. They have a nice variety of cake and pies for dessert. Service was very good so no complaint here. Overall a nice place to stay in with good value.
“Thanksgiving Weekend”
For the price, it was a good place to stay for the weekend.
