Back for our third stay!Posted Mar 1, 2015
Pros: We like the Tower Suites; very appointed with comfortable beds/pillows. The housekeeping staff does a great job. Love the high ceilings in the Casino
Cons: Lower the "volume" on the machines, like the buffalo stampede and Wheel of Fortune. Playing nearby for a long time can be very annoying.
Location: Good location, and easy to get to from the airport. Many "natural" places to visit, like Donner Pass, Lake Tahoe, and other attractions.
My husband and I returned for our third stay, meeting a friend for our annual trip. This hotel/casino is very well configured, and easy to get around. It is large enough to spend lots of time, but small enough so we don't get "lost". The restaurants are excellent---we had an outstanding meal at the Italian restaurant, with exceptional service. We ate at three other restaurants, and all served great quality food. We are all over 55 years of age, and I would recommend that if you do not like crowds and VERY loud "music", schedule your stay for Sunday to Thursday. Starting Thursday night it gets crowded and noisy. We all had a great time, and will be back this same time next year.

Big hotel but outdatedPosted Feb 25, 2015
The hotel is alright, but I guess for Reno it's what's expected. Needs to be updated. They have a full size bowling alley downstairs which is really nice but that too needs to be updated, 25% of the lanes were broken. They call the downstairs area a shopping mall but there are hardly any stores, it was about 75% vacant. They have 3 or 4 nice restaurants inside where the casino is. We ate at the Japanese restaurant which was very good! The pool is closed during the winter which is a bummer since I was expecting to be able to soak in a hot tub. The hotel is so big they have the space to put an indoor pool. They have a spa but they charge hotel guest for daily use. I think they should allow hotel guest to use their spa for their hot tub use since the outdoor pool and hot tub is closed during the winter.

Love itPosted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: The location, comfort of the room, the restaurants inside the hotel. It has a movie theater and a bowling alley.
Cons: I've stayed @ this hotel before in different rooms. I wish all the rooms would have showers like in Summit room
Location: This hotel is very close to airport, but noise from it does not penetrate inside. Shopping, restaurants and movie theater are in 5-15 min driving
We,ve arrived late, about 1 am. Despite that, staff members were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a room on 18th floor. The room is quiet, beautiful, and with all necessary amenities. It has plenty of towels, steam shower with excellent water pressure. I enjoyed it so much, did not want to get out of the shower:-)
