It was the best room I've ever stayed in. 5 Star'sPosted Mar 31, 2015
It was the best room I've ever stayed in. The suite was so much better in person. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a room that's comfortable and luxurious without burning your wallet.

Mixed feelingsPosted Mar 30, 2015
This place is not at all what is advertised. Seasonal pool which is very small. Outdated furnishings. Very small casino area. Virtually no shopping, unless you are a very skinny lady or a man looking for a Hawaiian shirt. Just overall disappointing.

Pros: Clean and convenient
Cons: Luggage carts
Hotel was clean and staff friendly. Little over priced for me. Did not like that I could not get a luggage cart without using valet. I don't want to wait for people when I check in, etc...

Very enjoyable stay...Posted Mar 29, 2015
Pros: The room, the food, the location convenience, the staff.... including the shuttle bus drivers!
Cons: Better smoke handlers in lobby.
Location: If you forget something, Wally World is less than a mile away (most of that is GSR's parking lot).
I visit Reno 3 or 4 times a year on business and the GSR is perfect for my needs. The rooms are very comfortable, they have a great variety of restaurants. Received a room upgrade out of the blue....that night I had a great dinner at the Rim restaurant, their Sizzling Seafood Soup & Dim Sum are not to be missed. I also enjoyed the Banana milk shake at Johnny Rocket's made me feel like a kid again. I don't gamble, so I won't comment on that...but there were plenty their who were leaving their money. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Reno and will be staying at the GSR again!

Pros: Great faciities.
Cons: Lighing in the rooms.
Location: Driving Range.
The radio personality that they had in the Sports Bar/Betting area was very disruptive and a bad idea.

I enjoyed my stay very close to airport but no indoor pool for people who travel from colder parts of the U.S. like Alaska. Over all it was great ☺️

Grand ExperiencePosted Mar 20, 2015
Pros: Looks great, lots of food, lots of fun.
Cons: Fridge and Microwave in every room...
Location: Pretty close to the center of the city. Easy access to highway.
I've stayed here twice and I think it's great. Lots of food choices, friendly staff, many things to do, smells nice, and just a very enjoyable experience.
