Nice, Not too Expensive, Basic, LoudPosted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: In general, a good price for a nice room.
Cons: It's a little tired and worn in public areas.
Location: Close to comedy clubs and other casinos in area. Would not recommend walking in off seasons at night. Kind of scary.
Good location especially if you want to be in the central downtown area. Close to Circus, Circus. It's older and kind of tired but the staff, although hard to find, were very nice and helpful. Since our visit was kind of off season, I guess they were short staffed. The area if a little creepy at night with lots of homeless and some shady characters. There were some police officers riding around on bikes which was a good thing.

I will NOT be backPosted Oct 20, 2014
I think the staff doesnt care, they were kinda rude. I didnt like how I didnt have anything other than just the hotel stay. They literally charge EVERYTHING. The lamps of the room were tored up the furniture was old. It just seemed like i was at a really cheap hotel. I dont think it was worth it.

Close to Pioneer Center, River Walk.Posted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: Nearness to concert venue ( we walked there in 5 minutes), value for the price. They also offered discounts to locals and UNR students.
Cons: Rooms could be upgraded.
Location: Near the Pioneer Center and the River Walk. Close to several other well known hotel/casinos and a large variety of restaurants.
Harrah's has been a Reno staple for many years. The room was a little tired but the bed was very comfortable, the climate control worked well, and the bathroom had new fixtures and was very clean. The staff was also very good, from check in to restaurant staff.

Comfy & InexpensivePosted Oct 15, 2014
Harrahs is a great place to stay in downtown Reno. We got a killer deal and so I can't be too critical. Our carpets were stained really bad but the overall experience was fabulous. I will tell my family & friends to stay here. Oh and the valet parking was super nice.

My room was my sanctuary away from cigarette smoke! Thankfully it was clean and I had no issues at all. I enjoyed the pool (even in October) but was bummed I had to pay$ to use the gym facilities to exercise. Overall, good stay at Harrah's.

GREAT VALUEPosted Oct 11, 2014
Pros: clean, updated room with plenty of electrical outlets, in 2014 that is not always the case
Cons: Garage needs cleaning and some concrete repairs
Good location, great parking and room was in great shape with super comfortable bed. Hall ways and elevator could have been maintained a bit better but over all super value.
