Classy, Comfortable and QuietPosted Sep 22, 2013
Pros: What I liked most about this Hotel was it was bright, clean, quiet and with great staff I always felt safe and cared for.
Location: A block away from an entrance to US 580 freeway.
Stayed six nights in September 2013. Staff were very professional and friendly. The room was spotless and the bedding new. Virtually no noise from the hallway. Clientèle were all respectful. The free breakfast was very good. Staying somewhere besides home can be stressful, especially in another City but this Holiday Inn was located in a nice quiet part of Reno and the Hotel was beautifully appointed making it a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. It is located a block from the main north/south freeway through the middle of Reno so it was always easy getting to other parts of the area for sightseeing (ie the Air Races, Lake Tahoe, Virginia City etc.). I would highly recommend this Hotel

Great hotelPosted Sep 11, 2013
Nice comfy and clean hotel - conveniently close to the freeway. We were there for the hot air balloon festival. Staff even let us have a late checkout so we could enjoy the early morning Dawn Patrol and festival - then come back and snooze before heading out.

Holiday Inn Express - market st.- renoPosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
semi convenient location, very little freeway noise. Pleasantly surprised(afterall it is Holiday Inn), very modern decor, good morning breakfast, absolutely a NON-smoking hotel, I will definitely book a stay with them again.

The room was nicely appointed.Posted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: spacious, comfortable; great staff
Location: very good pizza place nearby
We enjoyed our brief stay; the room was very spacious and comfortable. We asked for an early wakeup call and received it right on time. The staff made sure a cab arrived at 4:30 am to pick us up for our trip to the airport since the shuttle didn't start until 5:00 am. We would us this hotel the next time we are in Reno.

Very nice hotel. Very clean and our stay was very enjoyable. We went swimming, but didn't stay long, because the pool was too cold. We loved the free breakfast selection. Hot pancakes, waffles, scramble eggs, Canadian bacon, hot biscuits and gravy, fresh sweet fruit, yogurt, and so much more to choose from. Definitely will stay again!!

Great alternitive to strip hotelsPosted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
The place was very clean and looked new. Indoor spa was great. Free breakfast well stocked and had a great selection. Things that would have made it better: Sheets that fit the bed, ours came off every night, and would not stay on. The A/C units were so loud, we've stayed in rooms with quieter motors. We will use this hotel again, it was better than others in the same price range.

There was fresh cookies baked in the afternoon and free newspapers. Those were two little surprises that I appreciated. It was a pretty nice hotel considering that they allow pets. We brought our dog and were really impressed that it was a very nice place for our dog and the rest of the family. Our toilet was broken, but they quickly provided a new room that had the same features. The staff was quick to respond and was very helpful anytime we needed something.

Another enjoyable stay at a Holiday Inn ExpressPosted Jul 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room, bed, and bathroom all clean and tidy. But this is not what draws us to the Holiday...it's the breakfast. Have you ever eaten a pancake made by a machine? The first time we stayed at the Holiday, the customer service rep at the desk told me to be sure to try the pancakes, with some bacon or ham. She eats this type of breakfast EVERY day, and loves it. Well, she was right about it being good. Of course there are eggs, biscuits and gravy, bagels, yogurt, cold cereal, etc, etc. Just try it, and you'll get hooked. The staff is pleasant, and the lounge/breakfast area is very comfortable to both eat in, or just hang out to work on the computer, or read a book. I believe you won't be disappointed.
