Rib Cook off worth the stay at this hotel!Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Location to Rib cook off in Sparks, Nevada.
Cons: Staff could act like everyone is a valued customer.
Location: Nothing bad about Reno/Tahoe near by.
Staff was ok. Accommodations ok. Old small fuzzy TV, if that matters. Biggest rib cook-off in the west ALL worth the trip and stay! Very Hot temperatures at this time. Will look forward and plan for next year.

Under/over the 80Posted Aug 29, 2014
Hotel staff was very nice. Room service 24/7 excellent menus at all the restaurants. Workout room was adequate. Indoor pool was pretty sweet located on the 5th floor. Plenty of elevators, never had to wait for one. Relaxed atmosphere and great food, did I mention the staff was really nice?

Awesome Casino propertyPosted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: We were upgraded with our VIP expedia status and the room was FANTASTIC. Large with nice furnishings. The hotel has a lot to offer for amenities.
Cons: We were satisfied with all aspects of this stay.
Location: This hotel is located in Sparks and there is a movie theatre next to it and one other small casino and some restaurants and bars.
We stayed at this hotel during some medical treatment and while it is not the most conveniently located in Reno/Sparks, it is an awesome value for the room rate. These are first class "old school" hotel rooms that have been very well maintained. We were in the West Tower on the south side which was great also as some rooms can get a bit noisy. The staff throughout the hotel and casino were friendly and upbeat and provided great service. The addition of Gilleys and the move of the Sports book to the main casino floor were nice positives.

Clean, smoke free room was a pleasurePosted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Separate entrance to front desk and hotel.
Cons: Air quality in the casino areas.
Location: Mid-town had some nice restaurants and shops.
The stay on the 25th floor was comfortable. Clean spacious room, nice bed and quiet. I'm not much for Smokey casinos, so my trip to the coffee shop left me with the urge to shower as soon as I got back to my room. Better than your average accommodations.

Nice hotel, staff so courteousPosted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Normally I don't like casinos, my husband is the gambler. But the atmosphere was just homey and the staff was so polite. It was just convenient.
Cons: I thought it was pretty much perfect.
Location: Good location for us, close by where my husband grew up as a child. That's why we went there, to see how much it had changed.
We were on the 20th floor, so quiet. Loved the indoor pool, went to lots of places to just have nice experiences. The staff was there if you needed them, but not in your way when you didn't.

Was reasonably priced for the weekend, but very outdated, VERY!! I requested king bed smoking, when i got to my room, i had 2 queens. When I called the desk, she stated on the east tower there were only 4, yes thats right, 4 rooms with a king bed in the entire tower! Mind you thats about 25 floors, and only 4 king rooms? not at all what i wanted for my birthday experience, outdated everything, no excitement, casino boring.... definitely would not stay here again. Better off paying few bucks more to be on the strip!!
