We got the Premier King and it was a pleasant surprise as the hotel and casino are on the older side. The only drag was the constant water draining sound in the room I believe that's because we were the floor below the pool. Otherwise great room for the price.

Great Place to Relax while In-town for Wedding

Posted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: Front desk agents were friendly and accommodated our requests. The Hotel smelled great. Beds were comfortable, and indoor pool was clean and relaxing.
Cons: Have someone serving drinks or selling simple food items on the terrace outside of the indoor pool. Other than that, no improvements are needed !
Location: Eat Lunch at the Rotisserie Buffet in the Nugget ! Then allow 4 hours for the National Bowling Stadium and the National Auto Museum in downtown Reno.
We stayed in a Deluxe room (two Queen beds) during the second weekend of July, 2015. The Front Desk agents were friendly, and we were granted our request to have our room on the same floor as the swimming pool and the relaxing jetted Jacuzzi. Our beds were comfortable and clean from first night to last night (three nights) that we stayed at the Nugget. Their maids did an excellent job each time that we left for the day, and the room always smelled nice. It was a great hotel for relaxing in the evenings, and to get off to a good start in the mornings! Also, the attendants at the indoor pool were friendly and helpful each time we went there for swimming or relaxing in the big Jacuzzi. We stayed at the Nugget in Sparks, Nevada while visiting with relatives, helping out with preparations for my nephew's wedding day, and doing some sightseeing and enjoying good restaurants too. I will recommend The Nugget to any friends or family vacationing in the Reno or Sparks area!

Stay at a Casino at a fantastic price

Posted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: The price, cleanliness, and staff.
Cons: Directions for getting there.
Location: Right on I-80. Best to get off I-80 at the exit for Pyramid.
We booked this hotel because it was really inexpensive, and were pleasantly surprised what great condition the rooms were. The hotel is built on both sides of I-80 and even under it! But, you never hear the freeway from any where in the hotel. It's location is convenient to other places in Sparks, NV. The staff is really helpful and the service is excellent. Maybe next time we will stay longer.

Good price and comfort

we stayed two nights. For the really reasonable price we did not expect to have such a nice room. Very comfortable and would definitely stay again.

It was Cheap and thats about it

Posted Jul 29, 2015
Pros: It was cheap
Cons: Everything else
Location: Convenient for stopping off on my trip between N. California and vegas - thats all
This is a cheap hotel that's functional if you are on your way to somewhere else or don't have much money. Personally, I'd never go to this place again. The hotel rooms are noisy and the food served in the hotel is pretty poor. The room was reasonably clean but very dated decor - I couldn't wait to get out and move on - fortunately I only had a one night stay

Nice but loud

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: the room was clean.
Cons: they need to find a way to block the noise from the freeway
All was well with the room but the freeway was very load from our room on the 10th floor. Next time I'm in Reno I will be looking from a place that is away from freeway's.
