Great spa room. Extra big. Very clean.

great hotel was very clean however not as quiet as room as I've had in the past at other hotels you can hear the people next door to you and down the hall. the only small issue I had was the furniture had chips and the room phone did not work..so no room service for us!!

The hotel was good

Posted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: gym, quiet, internet speed
Cons: hotel condition
Location: There are plenty of places to eat inside the hotel. I guess you could take a day trip up to Tahoe from here and go exploring too.
It was a good hotel but the rooms were really cheesy and seemed outdated. I guess this is typical of old Nevada Casino hotels. Also there was a daily resort fee on top of the hotel price. I was happy staying there though and it was quiet and I had a good night sleep. That was all I needed. The gym was great and the internet worked very well.

Great place when it's cheap.

Nice room. Convenient to better restaurants on Virginia St. Big hotel so easy to get lost in it.

Business trip

Pros: Professional staff
Cons: The room I stayed in had chairs with peeling paint, table was dirty and stained, paint chipped on all furniture and hair was in the bed.
Location: Accessible stores
The front desk staff were absolutely excellent. Jocelyn was a professional and kind young woman. She was so helpful and courteous.

enjoyable experience

Pros: Rooms, food, service, and a very pleasant check out.
Cons: Noise in the hallway after midnight
Location: Located in Reno. Museums, lake Tahoe,
Always a good place to stay. Seemed more crowded than usual. All you can eat sushi is a big hit with me. Food was good, service was too.

BIG Difference!!!

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: Best part of this hotel is Cafe Milano!! Great food, good service, 24 hours and reasonable price.
Last year, same time of year, we stayed here and got a great deal for Tuscany Suites. This year for more money we were put in the West Wing. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! We paid more for less. Room was small, only a king bed and roll away for 4 people. Tiny room, small bathroom. The nice thing was, the West Wing is not attached to the casino, so NO SMOKE SMELL AT ALL!! That was nice. Next year, hoping to get the same deal as the first year, because for that price, if we are in the North or West Wing rooms, I'll pass and go stay somewhere else.

Nice hotel

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Stayed in the North Wing, which is why I couldn't give it a 5. It's quite a hike to the rooms (which are cheaper so I'm not complaining) and the rooms are pretty small. Noise was a factor. I stayed in N3002 which is above the garages used in the hotel or casino for janitorial staff so at 11pm, the employees must do a shift change as there are many out there. And they were ro,lling around garbage cans on the pavement which was pretty loud. also the ice machine is not behind a door like in many nicer hotels so every time someone used it, it was loud. Other than that, all was good. Going back in three weeks for another volleyball tournament and will be trying out the Tuscany Suites at that time, which I've heard are wonderful.

Cons: update the North Wing rooms
The North Wing is too far away from lobby and pool and the rooms are very small and not updated.
