Nice but wouldnt stay again

Room was nice, staff seemed a bit tired and lazy. Hated the casino! No good slots! No WOF, Ghost Busters, Etc. Ended up at the Silver Legacy has way more fun! Wouldnt go back!

Most acceptable hotel in almost all areas.

Posted Apr 18, 2014
Pros: Most everything. See above comments.
Cons: The prices on the food and beverage tray in the room could be half of what they were listed and the hotel still could make at least a 100% profit.
Location: Location was favourable for proximity to the freeway.
This was an overnight stay on our way back from a winter in Palm Springs to Canada. We stayed here a year ago as well. The experience was very good save for the prices of the 'food and beverage' tray in the room. These prices suggest flat out gouging! Also, the inconvenience of staying in the North wing is something we would have to take into consideration should we decide to go through Reno again. The room was first class, the restaurant was five star in all aspects and the machines paid fairly! The value received for the price was acceptable. ALL staff were pleasant, polite, helpful and knowledgeable.

Great hotel for your stay in Reno

Posted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: The staff is so friendly and helpful. The Tuscan suites feel very updated and clean.
Location: The restaurants in the Peppermill all seemed great. The casino was a bunch of fun!
My fiance and I wanted a quick weekend trip, and the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino hit the spot. We stayed in the Tuscan Suites (King suite), and we loved it. The bed was comfortable, room was clean and felt new, and the temperature was perfect. There wasn't much noise, which was great considering that it was a big family weekend (apparently we came during spring break). We had lunch at the seafood restaurant...ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI (ask for Jon)!! It was delicious. We had dinner at Bimini, which was AMAZING. Lisandra was our waitress...she was the best! We played a few rounds of blackjack (try to get Elaine's table if you go...she's so much fun!). Overall, it was a great weekend and we hope to come back soon!

Comfortable rooms and good food choices

Posted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: Close to the airport. My expectations were low but the hotel and staff exceeded them. The restaurant options run the gamut.
Cons: Unfortunately the upscale restaurant is closed on the two days I was there.
It was a Monday/Tuesday business stay and the hotel was busy without being crowded. The casino, bars, and restaurants are all comfortable and well maintained. Overall, a recommended hotel and casino.

Beautiful casino with lots of good restaurants. Close to skiing and Lake Tahoe. Downtown Reno has a beautiful Riverwalk. Had an awesome time at this luxurious hotel!

Great Staff and restaurants but OMG the smoke!

Posted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: The screens running videos from around the world were amazing. Friendly staff and good food in all the restaurants.
Cons: AIR QUALITY!!!!! We couldn't enjoy the casino or bars because of the foul air.
Location: Great golf.
This is a beautiful establishment with a great staff and wonderful restaurants but the casino is unbearable with all the smoke!!!! Even our No Smoking floor room smelled of smoke. They had one small area designated non smoking. Should have been the other way around and the smoking room should have closed doors and ventilation to combat the smoke. The small air filters placed around did nothing. Very disappointing they were catering to a small number of people and their nasty, vile, polluting habit that encroaches on everyone's freedom to breathe good air.

A nice experience in Reno

Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: The hotel is well located for traveling around Reno. It is well kept but not ostentatious.
The Peppermill provides a nice experience if you are in Reno. Our room, which included the jacuzzi tub, was nice and spacious. I will stay there if I'm in Reno again. The one thing I will do is make sure my room is not near the elevators. Our room was and we heard them constantly. Even with that, it was an enjoyable visit, we were treated well, and received good value for our money.

Within walking distance to Reno Convention Center which was a plus. Also ate at several of the restaurants on premises and found them to be good.

Nice gettaway from home.

We were looking for a nice relaxing night away from our busy lives and that was what we got. The atmosphere of the Fireside lounge was just what we needed.
