Awesome hotel in Reno!

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: We loved how spacious the rooms are, great casino and the pool is fantastic and very clean. The Buffet in the hotel is also very good. Wonderful!
Location: Loved that the hotel is very central and on a main road. Easy to get around.
We stayed at the Peppermill one time before and loved it. This time when we stayed for 3 days it was no different - absolutely wonderful! Couldn't get any better.

Nice, it's the only place I will stay in Reno

Posted Sep 7, 2014
Pros: Convenience and price.
Cons: No smoking, check in closer to rooms in the Tuscany Tower.
Location: Great access to Lake Tahoe which is why I usually go to Reno.
It's a great place to stay (Tuscany Tower only) however, it's a huge walk and you have to go through a lot of smoke to get there. The prices are so fabulous! Get the Tuscany suites with veranda for only $125.00 (special - ask for it!)

Nice hotel close to the hwy to Lake Tahoe.

Posted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: The room was very nice and very clean. Beds were comfortable. Nice rain-head showers. The pool area was absolutely gorgeous!
Location: We only stayed one night on our way to Lake Tahoe; it was close to the Highway out of town.
We only stayed one night so we didn't get to enjoy all the amenities and we are not gamblers, so we didn't partake of the casino. However, the Italianate/Rococo/Baroque theme was carried out through the whole "resort" and was nicely done without being tacky. The valet service (paid as part of your resort fee) was fairly quick after we checked out. Being able to check out electronically at a kiosk was very cool - scanning the room key, approving the room charges, getting a printed receipt, and then dropping your keys in a drop box went very quickly.

Comfortable room, pain to navigate property.

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Most of the staff were quite friendly.
Cons: Better signage. Hard to tell if you were still on the right path as you trekked to your destination.
Location: Clareys bar across the street from main entrance is convenient. Good dinner specials and great staff.
Room was fairly priced and clean and comfortable. Needed a little maintenance, but I did not inform hotel until check out. Unknown on time to repair. I would not tell anyone not to stay here as there was nothing terribly wrong with my stay. Not the place for people that want conveniance. Very hard to navigate a poorly laid out (IMO) property. Seems cobbled together as an after thought/expansion. I understand that casino hotels are designed to keep you wandering around the casino floor, but this seems to be too much. If you stay in the west wing, study the map before leaving your room and try and know where you are going. May help you out a bit. If you have trouble with mobility, may not be the property for you.

Beautiful hotel

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Cons: Checking was a ridiculously long wait. They needed more front desk personnel, some would wait on one person the disappear into the back,
Beautiful hotel and Casino, nice staff, poor check in
