tight squeeze.

Pros: Pools, service.
Cons: size of the rooms (obviously not correctable, just a bummer)
So, we enjoyed the facilities, restaurants, and pools at the Peppermill. Check in and out were great, housekeeping responsive. Valet parking courteous and quick. The room size, though -- wow. So. Small. We made the reservation for three people; there were only towels enough for two. Seems short sighted. And twin beds (v. queens). Note to self, read the fine print for bed size when you get a room with two beds -- couldn't upgrade as they were "sold out." The room fit the two tiny beds perfectly though! Itty, bitty. Kudos to the quietness of the hotel; that was a pleasant surprise.

The hotel was nice. The floor plan for guest rooms in the north tower makes for a long walk from the elevators.

Nice Hotel

Posted Jul 4, 2015
For the price I would have expected house keeping to do a better job, the shower heads to be in better shape (yes I said heads) and I felt like I was sleeping in a hole with the bed. Overall though I would stay there again.

Nice stay, but not perfect

Posted Jul 4, 2015
Pros: Good parking for West and North wing residents. Good casino gaming.
Cons: They really need to tighten up the busing of food and drink leftovers in all areas of the property. It is gross to look at old food and drinks.
Just got back from three nights. Overall it is a nice resort. At first we were given a king room when I had requested 2 doubles when booking on Expedia. We moved when we got in the room and the curtains were hanging down on the window, and ended up with two doubles in the West wing. It seems they put many of the third party booking in the north and west wings. I heard other conversations during check-in. Oddly I think this was a good thing. Those wings are older and 4 stories high. Our room was very, very quiet. No parties or rude drunks at all. The AC unit made a bit of noise but the last two nights I turned the fan speed down and it ran longer but at a lower velocity. Parking was very close and I could see my car from our window. The toiletries were my favorite ever in a hotel. Blood Orange scented shampoo, conditioner, body gel, soap and lotion, YUM. I had three great nights on the casino floor. The dealers in general were very friendly, minus one grump. Cocktail service was quick and friendly. I guess my only issue would be things being left lying around for long periods of time in the hotel areas, pool area and cabanas. No tray of leftover food or drinks should sit for 8-10 hours on the floor or piled up in a corner. In order to use the pool bathrooms you walk past leftovers piled up on trays in the hallway. Room service trays were in the hall by the stairs to our room every day. Big question, Peppermill or Atlantis? I'd call it a tie.

Crazy Hotel

Posted Jul 3, 2015
Pros: Restaurants, location to airport
Cons: Smell going to our room-smelled like sewage
Location: Close to Reno and so much to do at the hotel.
I thought that the restaurants were wonderful, the room was clean: But, getting around was difficult-we normally do not get lost but we seemed to get lost a lot in that place. Maybe better signage would help.

Go occasion getaway

Pros: The restaurant staff was very courteous. Housekeeping was very accommodating.
Cons: Offer couples a non connecting room (there were days kids laughing through the other door )
Location: Outside the hotel:car museum, animal ark, riverwalk
The trip was for our anniversary. We enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice and comfortable. Majority of the staff was pleasant and in the know. The restaurants and their staff were great and very professional. Not one person seemed to have had a bad day. I'm glad the non smoking section of the casino was kept non smoking. Some people were trying to smoke in that section and was asked to leave. I wish we could have spent a little more time in there. The fitness room was clean and very well equipped Loved the outdoor jacuzzis. Only problem was, we had gotten some outdated information from the conceiaire.

Staff was very friendly. Volunteered to provide an upgrade. Importantly, the slots are gambler friendly.

Reception staff member was not welcoming very callous. Checked in at 7:30pm and room not yet available. Had to wait around for one hour. The carpeted area in hallway were dirty with huge stains. Just seemed like a scroungy hotel trying to fake being nice. We did like the pools but realize you have a mandatory resort fee nightly in addition to you room rate.

Cons: fix drain, not much you can do with the beds
When taking a shower did not drain well, standing in 3 in of water every time you take a shower. Bed was hard to me and elevator smelled. there were stains on the chairs.

Beautiful hotel

This hotel is very comfortable the pool is great. We are not smokers so the casino was a little smoky for us, but I did notice that they had air filters going in certain areas of the casino, which seemed to help. We would recommend anyone going to Reno to check this hotel out.
