Sisters getaway,

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: We really liked the diner which had great prices and good food. The casino had a variety of games that we had not seen before.
Location: A little far from the other casinos but we did not need to go to those because we were satisfied by what was offered there.
We were in Reno to visit our nephew and to do some gambling. We only wish that there were queen beds instead of the double beds but we made do.

Gross, Stinky and Rude

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: Not a great part of town
We arrived at 1:30 or so in the morning, tired and not feeling well. At the front desk, they would not take cash for our room but required the ENTIRE amount of our stay be put on our card...I had cash. Absolutely would not even attempt to help us find another solution other than going to an ATM to make a deposit, which we tried and cost us a $30 taxi ride (which was the best part of the night). We ended up staying at Motel 6 across the street, who were happy to take our cash even though it was more expensive. My $56 room turned into $116 night. The lobby reeked of old stale cigarette smoke, to which the front desk guy said, "Well we ARE attached to a casino." The chairs we waited in were filthy and the characters milling around in the parking lot were less than encouraging. We never made it to our room, as Circus Circus was more than willing to put their $30 deposit on our card and happy to take my cash. Never never again will I even think of staying at the Ramada in Reno. We were disgusted and disappointed and spent way more money than we'd intended.

Hotel near the airport

Posted Apr 5, 2015
Cons: Comfort of bed, cleanliness, and price
This was a disappointing stay. The bed was very hard, there were no curtains to block out the sun in the morning, and the elevator was right by our room, so nooooooooooo sleep!

Only ok if you just need to stop and sleep. Room was outdated and not in very good shape.

Basic but clean and nice

Posted Apr 1, 2015
Pros: Clean and also pet friendly.
Cons: Maid service was variable.
Location: Convenient to the Reno/Sparks arena
Fast check in and check out even with the large group there during the stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nice to have food available in hotel and at on site casino that was open 24 hr/day. Ample parking available.

Pros: Friendly staff.
Area where the hotel is located is not the best. Didn't feel comfortable leaving my car in the parking lot.

Away from bustle of downtown.

Cons: Shower in bathroom: safety bar was in the way of shampooing hair.
Reasonably quiet, though we could hear the TV from next door.

Dirty Hotel

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Not allowing people from the streets hang around the hotel and update on the rooms, very old and not clean
Location: Ghetto
Was in a bad neighborhood and room was very dirty, I did not feel safe. I did not stay at this motel, I left because of the environment and the condition of the room, that I would of stayed in. I lost out on the money I paid for this motel and to me if they really need that money they can keep it.. I rather stay in a motel that I feel safe and room is cleaner and safe for my child..

I went for a little get away, it was okay over all. The casino is just okay. The men that go in there are there to pick up women and I didn't feel safe on the street by myself. Recommend going with friends or your sucnificant other. Not alone!
