Its a hotel!

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Friendly Staff.
Cons: Pricing for the product you receive.
Its price competitive when the rest of Reno is full! However, the casino is uncomfortable, as are the rooms. Nothing particularly terrible, I'd just expect quite a bit more from a "3" star Ramada. However; the non-casino bar was great, and the hotel staff was very friendly.

Nothing nice about this place

Posted Jun 24, 2015
This place smells of smoke everywhere, a lot of deferred maintenance. This was way over price at 100.00 per night.

Average hotel in questionable area

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: Friendly waitress at restaurant
Cons: Rooms need updating
Location: 20 minute walk to downtown Reno
Not close to downtown. Area dirty. Free shuttle meant call to taxi which hotel provided voucher.

Excellent value hotel.

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: Value for money spent is excellent.
Cons: Rooms could use an update.
Location: The Casino downstairs was a plus. I like to walk and walked down town on several occasions.
The hotel could use a light refreshing. It is somewhat dated but for the price it is very good. It is convenient to the Casino downstairs. The parking lot looked a little "sketchy" in terms of individuals walking about. However, I had not problem whatsoever. The staff made up for any down side at they were very courteous and attentive to any need. Looking for a good deal this is the place.

Good for what you pay

It's not the Hilton, but it's nice enough. Their casino has some tweakers hanging around, but it's safe.

Sketchy neighborhood, older hotel needs some work

Posted May 25, 2015
Pros: Close to I-80
Cons: Communicate with on-line providers of services
Location: Easy on an off of freeway
Was very disappointed to find out the pool was empty, that's the first thing we look for when we book our room at any hotel. Not listed as seasonal or pool under repair, no kind of compensation or real concern in any way.

Stayed here for bowling tournament

Posted May 24, 2015
Pros: Price
Cons: Pillows were awful, TV channel selection was poor, and actually TV itself needed upgrade to HD
Location: The location is in rundown part of Reno, and it was a wet weekend so did not explore near hotel.
Selected the Ramada Hotel as it is close to where I was playing in a bowling tournament at Grand Sierra. Could have stayed at GSR but Ramada total cost was 40% of what I would have paid at GSR. But you get what you pay for, basic room at a small hotel in an area of Reno that is somewhat rundown. GSR have dropped their rates for next year so it will be a more difficult decision to use Ramada again.

Dirty. Old is not an excuse for being dirty.

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Not one thing.
Cons: Cleanliness and more blankets!
Location: Reno is very small and it all is within no more than a five minute drive.
As I set foot inside the room the dirty carpet was unavoidable, full of stains, and all around the room where the baseboard meets the carpet it was full with fuss, crumbs and gunk. The weather was cold, with having snowed the night before and rain on and off, the bed had only one sheet and not one blanket at hand, neither on the bed nor anywhere in the room. Would not go back and do not recommend it.

Reserved queen bed smoking by mistake but only had smoking with double beds when we arrived. The mistake was mine on the smoking but theirs on the bed size. Was not willing to fix either mistake mine or theirs so I will never stay there again. Room smelled like an ashtray.
