Riding DirtyPosted Aug 13, 2014
Slow check-in with someone whom I don't think knew basic computer operation or logic, Filthy carpets, let me repeat that, FILTHY carpets! No bedspread and the smallest pillow you can imagine. Old and dated in every way. We won'tbe returning.

Dirty hotelPosted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: The personnel
Cons: The room and the appearance of the hotel and gaming area
Location: Location OK
Motel 6 is a better option. I don't believe I need to say anymore. I won't be going back and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Clean, comfortable, good deal for the pricePosted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Good price and close to downtown
Cons: Food in the buffets could be better
Location: Only stayed one night and only did a bit of gambling and ate at the buffet.
Clean, comfortable, good deal for the price. Hotel is a bit outdated, but a good value. We stayed in a non smoking tower and did not smell smoke. We did have some unruly people on the floor, but that is not the hotels fault and it only lasted for a few minutes. I'm guessing hotel staff confronted the people.

Worst experiencePosted Aug 11, 2014
Hotel bathroom sink was not draining water properly, nothing great about this hotel. Finding parking was a nightmare.

It was closed to the main casinosPosted Aug 11, 2014
It was very disappointed when we came back from the casinos around 11:30pm and there was No parking space in the hotel so we had to park in the street. We were so worrie the next morning because another car that was parked on the street too had a broken window and they stereo was stolen so we thought that we might have the same problem, but we were lucky our car was in perfect conditions!

OK place if traveling with dogPosted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: The employees at the front desk are very friendly and helpful.
Cons: replace the carpet and make a pet area. Charge the pet owners that destroy the areas. It isn't fair to us responsible owners to have nasty carpet.
We picked this place because it's one of the only places that accepts pets. The carpet in the room was stained and dirty. The hallway carpet was just as gross. I'm sure this is from worthless pet owners, who allow their pet to mess on the floor, and not clean up. The morning we were leaving the hallway smelled like a skunk. Their only outdoor pet area is around the outdoor generator which is just dirt and up about a foot curb. Very small dirty area. No grass. Obviously, not an actual appropriate pet area for such a large hotel.

Close to Amtrack and quiet!Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: CLOSE to Amtrack station - walk 3ish long blocks and you're there! Rooms are large and clean.
Cons: Check-in lines are too often VERY LONG. How about providing seating for spouses and the disabled so we don't have to stand for 20 minutes?
Location: Near Amtrack and downtown casinos. Seafood buffet at El Dorado remains a highlight.
The check-in lines can be quite long - even after the usual hot hours of 5-7PM - so prepare for a wait standing in line. That aside, the room is large, well appointed, and quiet.

Clean room, clean sheets, comfortable bed, cold a/c. All I needed for Reno! Met my expectations.
