Nice hotel, overpriced

Posted May 20, 2015
Pros: bed was comfortable
Cons: You advertise as being one of the nicer hotels, your prices reflect that, rooms just were not to the same quality. I have been in nicer rooms in Reno.
Location: Great location to see the Nevada Aces baseball game
Nice hotel, but I feel that for the money, I should have got a nicer room. I expected better after looking at pictures on internet.

Staff during checkout was very helpful. The workout room was great. It was to cold to use the pool or the hot tub, as those are outside

Beds

Posted May 16, 2015
When the reservations were made, 2 queen beds were requested. We start to get settled and realize these can not be queen beds, and call the front desk. After a few conversations, we were moved to a different room which did have queen beds and all was wonderful from that point on. Thanks !!

Only one night

Posted May 14, 2015
Had a nice room on the 8th floor, clean, well appointed. The door would stick and you needed to shove it open. The shower drain was clogged somewhat. Also the bath did not vent well. Other than that we liked it

Nice Hotel for short stay in Reno

Posted May 14, 2015
Pros: Everyone was friendly the hotel was very clean and in great shape. Parking was free. Hotel was close to everything, only 10 minute from the airport.
Location: right behind hotel.
Checked into Siena day before my flight out of Reno having spent the week in Tahoe. Staff was vey friendly and efficient. Upgraded me to deluxe because the standard room was not ready. Had a nice view of the Truckee River. Hotel was in fine shape. The Casino was small but the staff was excellent. Overall definitely a four star experience.

Good for Reno

Posted May 12, 2015
Odd place, but then all of Reno is, people love it her for the gambling? Why? The hotel tries with little décor details of tacky art. It's well lit and just kind of tacky overall. The drinks in the bar are watered down as is the tradition of find casino's everywhere. The bed was uncomfortable. At least it was quiet.

Siena still great, but food has slid downhill

Posted May 9, 2015
Pros: Rooms are fine, employees generally great, lobby background music really rocks.
Cons: Throw out the noisy irritating burger place, and put the coffee shop back there.
Location: Location is perfect -- a great spot on the Truckee river, two blocks from all the other downtown casinos.
Really disappointed with their decision to replace their coffee shop with a chain luxo-burger joint. Gone is the chef d'hotel, gone are the wondrous wood-fired pizzas, gone is the excellent fine-dining restaurant. Instead of unbelievably artistic bakery creations, the coffee stand now sells supermarket-type pastries -- their pride and joy seems to be these limp "home made poptarts". Some plusses: visiting for the first time in two years, at least half of the staff are still there, and most remember both me and my dog. Very friendly place, and they must be great to employees to have such retention in Reno. If they could just get the superb food of old back....

Pros: The décor was lovely.
Cons: Could smell Cigarette smoke when we first walked in lobby.
Location: We were there to see our son and family. But we were very well aware of what there is to do in Reno..., having lived there:)
we enjoyed staying at the Siena Hotel. We lived in Reno/Sparks for 6 years . And we were visiting our son and his family on a five week vacation:) Made me want to move back to Reno, Just not enough plant life and traffic is bad! Other than that. I loved Reno. And the Hotel was great.

Tired hotel, nice location

Posted May 8, 2015
Pros: Staff was great... everyone was very helpful.
Cons: Bathrooms need an upgrade, carpets are on their last legs. Our room had a view of nothing, but we knew that when we booked.
Location: Plenty of restaurant options... we ate at a Spanish tapas place called Fuego that was great.
This is a decent hotel, but somewhat thread-worn. The carpets are old, the bathrooms are not nice, but the bed was comfortable and the staff was pleasant. We only walked through the casino once, but it was the somewhat typical smokey Reno casino atmosphere.
