Down town hotel

Hotel was clean, only because it has been recently renovated. Smaller casino with sketchy clientele. Very limited parking so get there early on the weekends.

新しくてきれいなホテルです。

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: 他のリノのホテルに比べて新しくて広く、きれい。
Cons:

Cons: don't place non smokers in room you consider non smoking when clearly smokes comes up from 5th floor
requested non smoking room, placed on 6th floor, any room above 5th should be considered smoking, smokes comes up from 5th floor, smoking is a filthy disgusting habit so any room above 5th floor is pure filth. won't stay here again.

The Sienna, Reno NV

Posted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: Location.
Cons: Property is not being maintained well.
I had stayed in this hotel 3 years ago when it was newly remodeled and had a nice room and thought the entire property (other than the smokey casino) was pretty nice. Good location right on the river walk in downtown Reno. So when I was returning to Reno, I thought it would be a good place to stay. I booked a standard King. When I walked in, it smelled heavily of smoke, even though it was a "non smoking" room. It was also very cave like. I just didn't like it at all and it didn't look anything like the other room I had during the previous stay. I went back to the FD and they were able to give me a Delux King with a view of the river for a $15 upgrade per night. I took it and went to the next room. That room was like the one I had stayed in previously, bigger, nice view, additional furniture etc. But it too smelled like Cigarettes and there were yucky stains on the carpet. I found hair in the bathtub and I'm bald :), I found cigarette ashes on the nightstand. It was nasty. So I went back to the FD and they agreed to put me in another room on a higher floor (the 7th) and reversed the charge for the upgrade. The front desk staff was great as were all the employees I came in contact with, but the property is not being maintained well. The last room was nice, clean and pleasant, but it's obvious that they have different levels of rooms and if you don't get on the upper floors, it's probably not in good shape.

Room was dirty.

Posted Dec 3, 2014
Cons: The cleanliness of the rooms. When someone books a deluxe, give them a deluxe.
Location: There is great restaurants nearby.
I have stayed at the Sienna several times before. Have always had a great experience with spacious and clean rooms. This time, I booked a deluxe room. This room was NOT deluxe. It was small, with an old worn out mattress, dirty pillow cases, and found a huge glob of black hair on the towels in the bathroom. I called the front desk and told them about the towels. They acted like they didn't care. I can not say that this was a good experience. I will not be staying again.

Good location... Disappointing rooms

Posted Dec 2, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Room was uncomfortable, it would benefit from upgrading the furniture and linens.
Super small room, small bathroom with barely enough room to move around. Bed was flimsy and uncomfortable. Very thin walls.

As I expected.

Posted Dec 2, 2014
Pros: Convenient to downtown and "river" area and right across the street from the auto museum.
Cons: There needs to be a light where suitcases would be located- in the coat hanging area.
The room and hotel are pleasant enough given the price I paid. Depending on the pricing of the room, I would stay there again. The pictures of the hotel make the room appear a bit larger than it actually is. The bathroom is also on the small side- difficult for 2 people to be in there or use at the same time. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Pros: Rooms, size of hotel, fun casino, refrigerators, bathtubs
Location: It's right on the river. There are several good restaurants a short walk away. Ace's ballpark is very close as well.
The Siena has clean, very comfortable rooms and an unbeatable location. Some of the other reasons we always choose this hotel include: refrigerators in each room, bathtubs that work (not just a shower), and the year-round outdoor hot tub. We also prefer the smaller size of this hotel in contrast to the giant, casino hotels where it takes a long time to get around.

Away from the maddening crowd

Posted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: Location
Located in downtown on the opposite side of the Truckee River. Older hotel but clean and in walking distance to larger downtown casinos.
