Splurged with a spa room upgrade

Posted Jan 25, 2015
At the time of check-in I was offered a spa room upgrade for an additional $50 a night. It was well worth it. Not only did it have a spa in the living area, but it had a gigantic bathroom with his and her sinks and a walk in shower that was 5 foot wide by 9 foot long! the room also had a small refrigerator and a Keurig coffee maker. The next time I'm in Reno I will definitely be staying at the Silver Legacy.

Good hotel, not enough to do within walking dist.

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: Decor, walkway to other casinos, staff was friendly, cleanliness
Cons: Shuttles to other casinos that are not located in the downtown core. Fridges & microwaves should be in all rooms.
Location: We did not find enough to do within walking distance. A little info sheet in the room with "Things to do within walking distance" would have been nice
Asked for a view of the main st and our room was on the back side, overlooking parking lots.

Nice hotel. Good for the price.

Overall nice experience and stay. Room was clean and had modern fixtures. Only downfall was plugs in room were hard to find so I could charge my phone at night. Plan ahead, checkin can be lengthy. But the long line did go faster than you would think.

Nice hotel to stay at

Posted Jan 21, 2015
My family and I stayed here after spending the day in the Sierra Mountains. I booked the luxury rooms and it was okay, nothing too grand. Next time I may ask if they offer a nicer room.

The hotel was good. There is a Starbucks in the casino which is really nice. The cafe central was also very convenient and good value, especially if you travel with kids. They have a great kids menu.

Good value casino hotel

Posted Jan 14, 2015
Pros: Free parking that was easy to get to. Elevators get you to and from your room and to and from parking very quickly.
Cons: There are no fridges in the hotel rooms. It's hard to keep leftovers or store your own food.
Location: Easy downtown location.
Helpful, efficient staff and fun atmosphere. It seemed a lot less smoky than the first time I went a year ago, or maybe I just expected it this time.

We were there mainly for the casino but enjoyed all the legacy had to offer. Restaurants were good. Very close to other casinos.

Nice hotel with great location.

Pros: The connections to the other hotels
We didn't have to drive at all for our entertainment. The connections to the other hotels were great.
