The hotel had good location.Posted Mar 5, 2014
Cons: Cost ,could have stayed at Circus Circus cheaper
Location: I was there for the USBC bowling tournament.
Silver Legacy is a very nice kept hotel. There are constant changes and upgrades over the previous year when I was there. It's with in walking distance to the bowling center, got to enjoy the foreigner concert in the hotel. I had a corner room on my floor and really enjoyed that, it was quiet and had a nice view. I have stayed here on several trips and will continue to do so until they price themselves out of my budget.

Close to the airport and entertainmentPosted Feb 25, 2014
Pros: The way it was decorated and that there was a security officer to check your id before you entered the elevator.
Cons: House keeping
Location: Museum's, tours
The bedding was old but the worst thing was I went to get the extra blanket out of the closet and the blanket had hair all over it. All kinds of people hair! I put the blanket on the floor and house keeping just folded it and never cleaned it! The hair was still there. UGH

Will stay againPosted Feb 24, 2014
This was our first time staying at Silver Legacy. From the mix of reviews I was a little concerned but thought I'd give it a shot. We were quite pleased. The hotel is updated and the room was pretty good. I'm not sure what other reviewers were expecting out of a Reno casino hotel but this was much better than other reviews led me to believe. The hotel staff was very friendly... some of the staff at some of the bars is another story... but this review is for the hotel. We initially checked in and got our room. We got to the room and everything was great. We shortly after found out that our friends were all on another floor than us so out of curiosity we called down to the desk and asked if we could move... they said yes! Not only that but when we said we would be right down to exchange keys they told us to sit tight and have a drink while they send a bell hop up to assist us and give us the new room keys! Awesome service! We only stayed overnight for the weekend but we had no problems... they even did not rush us out like most hotels! They let us take our time, as we were moving very slow with pounding heads. They just told us to call back down when we were heading out. We will definitely stay again!

Great casino and restaurants, room wasn't greatPosted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: We loved the restaurant choices and number of table games available.
Cons: The standard rooms need serious improvement.
Location: Downtown Reno is having a rebirth. There are so many great restaurants, shops and bars within walking distance from the casinos.
We love the Silver Legacy for it's casino, great bars and restaurants. We typically splurge and get a really fancy room with jacuzzi tub and all the amenities. This time we only got a luxury room (their words, not ours) and it wasn't very luxurious at all. The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows weren't fluffy. The bathroom left a lot to be desired. The in room coffee was horrible. Overall, we would return to the Silver Legacy but only splurging and getting the upgraded, premium rooms. They are the only ones worth staying in at the hotel. The casino is great with lots of games and great music.
