“Second time! Good & convenient alternative to convention hotel”

Simple and adequate room at great rate for conference at the Reno Convention Center. Easy access to WiFi & room refrig saved me money. Staff procured taxis quickly or for scheduled time if needed. Pleasant walk to Convention Center. Outback Steakhouse, Walgreen drug store were nearby and there was a grocery store across from the convention center. Most of my time was at the conference, so glad that I had comfortable, clean room without having to endure the smoke-filled casino hotels! This was my second stay at the Vagabond - would do again!

“Very nice place to stay”

I really enjoy staying there! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very convienience to the casino one block away, they have great restaurants near by. The room was clean and nice. A great place to stay and very convienience to almost evrything.

“Dirty and bad neighborhood”

This hotel isn't clean. The shower smelled of mildew and wasn't fully cleaned! The bedding was tacky and the sheets were rough. In addition, there were stains on the towels. The neighborhood wasn't safe. In fact, I could hear music late into the night from the apartments behind the building. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone!

I would recommend downtown or by the airport.

“Good basic hotel”

This hotel was chosen because we were not interested or expecting any of the casino activity/entertainment. We stayed one night and were looking for basic accommodations. Overall the hotel was clean and appeared to be well maintained although it is an older facility. It was downgraded only because the towels had brown spots. We would stay again for short visits.

“One word: Dirty.”

Wore white socks as slippers when in the room and the bottoms were black. Went to open the box of soap and all there was inside was hair! The housekeeper had stuffed the hair from the shower drain in it and replaced it on the counter. The towels had streaks of brown on them and hair on them. Absolutey gross!

“Disappointing”

This motel did not meet my expectations, which were based on the photo and write up on Expedia.com. There was no refrigerator in the room, nor was there a coffee maker. The condition of the room itself left something to be desired and gave me the impression it was prepared by someone who didn't have their heart in it. I don't know if this makes a difference in the room quality, but I was traveling with 3 cats and was put in a pet friendly room.

“Fine for the purpose”

The motel is convenient to the Convention Center (the reason for my visit). Also easy walking distance to several restaurants as well as fast food. Not so convenient to downtown Reno if that is an issue, but is close to two of the largest hotel/casinos in town. The motel's is adequate to prevent starvation, namely individual prepackaged pastries, some apples and coffee. Friendly and helpful staff, adequate maintenance and good sized room. Very good deal for my trip and expectations.
