Good Location But Quality Was Very Poor!

Posted Nov 29, 2014
Pros: Not a whole lot. It was a place to sleep after a long day.
Cons: Train cleaning staff how to clean rooms and equipment. Train staff to be security conscious. Alternative breakfast items for those with special needs.
Location: Located directly across from VMAC Home of the Seahawks! Centrally located to various services (gas, restaurants, shopping, etc.).
The room was filthy, lamps were dusty, microwave was dirty. The night clerk brought a second microwave and it was filthy too. I finally cleaned it myself. There was no ice bucket so when I asked for one the clerk was surprised and had to dig for one in the back room. The continental breakfast was very limited and not very accommodating. They did not account for people with allergies/sensitivities (i.e., gluten, etc). I asked the day clerk if they had boiled eggs she said, "I wish we did." They did not have boiled eggs because it wasn't the right season. I located the door of another unit that was not closed/locked. When I notified the clerk, he said the cleaning staff sometimes left them open. If I hadn't paid in advance I would have located another chain to stay in. Won't make the same mistake twice. I'll pay the extra for higher quality.

This worked well for us after I scrubbed the tub. I dont know how long it had been since it had been scrubbed. The rest of the room was clean. The bedding and towels were great. There is a starbucks and Dino Pub within walking. The pub has great food and service

Cheapest lodging in the area

Posted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: I like that there are eats and a convenience store within walking distance in case you forgot something.
Location: Dunno - I'm there to work, not play
Nothing much to say. Internet worked, AC was OK, sheets were clean every day. They removed ALL their smoking rooms so, if you're a smoker, you'll have to step outside your room.

deposit problems

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: staff and room were both decent
Cons: more breakfast options and room should be updated, especially washroom
we were not notified about a deposit put on each of our rooms, and only noticed with a message from the bank. When we questioned the staff at check out, they said its been released, but its been a week since and no sign of the release at all. we called to ask about it and they said it would be released after the call , but we are still waiting and starting to question if it will be returned at all.

The stay was fine. I'm fussed at Hotels.com because this is the 3rd hotel I have booked thru them, but they are only crediting me for 1 stay.
