Visiting Renton for a 50th birthday

Kind of made reservation at the last minute and found most places were booked. The Renton Inn was available and low cost. Just stayed the one night and it was very adequate. Got a quiet room on the top floor (3rd flow) and slept just great. I would recommend it if someone is looking for a lower cost place to stay.

Train whistles in the night

Hotel was ok to close to the train and the intersection whistle blows very close and very loud. English is not the first language and very challenging to get ones point across. Nice people but poor understanding.

It's time to tear it down and rebuild. The beds were very uncomfortable. Mini blinds let in a lot of light.

Good hotel for the price. Convenient location. No amenities. Must request room service or you don't get it. Was clean and comfortable.

Worst stay ever

Book this place online because it's close to friends. I booked 2 double beds room and paid in full online. When we got there, we need to dial a number on a phone to get somebody's attention. The staff asked if we were book through the internet and I answered yes; then instantly she got this guy's(manager or owner) attention so he walked over and told me that they are not contracted with Internet booking website for double beds rooms. They only offer single bed rooms on the website. So, I told him that my rooms were book and paid for in full, and it's after10:30pm now, where are we going to stay, a family of 8 people. I asked if we we're have to stay at the parking lot over night. He said for $20 more on each room, we can have double beds rooms. I looked at him with a surprise. Of course I argue, I told him it's paid in full over a month ago, they could have let me know before I approached. All he wants was to get more money. He even told me to get my refund and go else where. But almost midnight, not know the area at all, finding a different place it's almost impossible at the time. Through out the whole thing, the staffs were rude.

When I got to the hotel my first thoughts were "Oh no". It was a bit run down and out of date. But things were clean and close to the technical college. I don't think it was worth the amount I paid.

Staff woke me in the middle of the night to tell me my credit card had expired and I MUST provide a different card immediately! I said I would take care of it in the morning. He sais NO! You have to pay NOW! He came to my room, took my card and returned with receipt. I will NEVER stay in this place again!

Close to the airport

Easy to check in if you booked via Hotels.com website. Overall is fine for short stay. Gets what you pay for comparing to other Hotels in Seattle.
