Our Room # 309 The hotel is perfectly located. Steps away from restaurants, shops, the beach, and a short hike (20 minutes) to the city center/old port. There's a large grocery store on the same street as the hotel, on the next block up, just walk away from the ocean/main strip up the hill from the hotel. The beach has plenty of beach loungers for free, so you never have to fight for a spot. The beach is also spotlessly clean. My room was a superior/partial sea view. Spacious and clean. The room furniture and hallway carpeting are a little tired, but that's a minor complaint. The wi-fi is great. Lastly, the service was top notch. Check in and check out were a breeze. The staff were professional and friendly. Even the cleaning lady was awesome. We had a super early flight to catch (7am). Not only did the front desk make sure to coordinate a early cab for us, they made sure to have a early breakfast ready for my wife. So thoughtful! Just top notch service! I would definitely come back!

3 Star Hotel at best
Room was clean, although very small with a poor layout. Housekeeping visited only once during a 3 night stay. Advertised as free parking but in reality there are just 2 spaces and they were occupied by the same cars for the few days we were there. Outdoor pool is small but ok for a quick dip. Only 4 sunbeds around the pool. Indoor pool and sauna were closed due to covid. Reception staff seem bored and uninterested in the guests, never looking up to acknowledge our presence, constantly glued to their phone screen. Every morning at 8am the hotel has the recycled glass collected, it was so noisy it woke us up every time. Check out time was advertised as 12pm but on the day of the checkout we were told we have to leave at 11am due to covid. Nicely located opposite the beach.

Dear Guest, I would like to thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. All your comments will be considered as we always try to improve ourselves. Due to Covid 19 restrictions cleaning service took place every other day, unless the guest requested an every day cleaning service. About the parking spaces we are already adding as of next year many more parking seats. I would also like to point out that the Sauna is available with an appointment, only the indoor swimming pool is closed due to covid 19 laws. Check-in and check-out take place in different than normal hours due to the need to disinfect rooms and air them properly. Recycling is organised by the municipality not the hotel but we will look into their schedule. Finally I am very surprised by your comments about our reception staff, I believe though that there was a training going on for a brief time during your stay. Our receprion staff is usually very highly appreciated by guests. Again let me thank you for all your comments and wish you a beautiful autumn! Fantastic staff, always ready to assist and cater to your requests and comforts. Nice property, right in front of the beach within walking distance to everything. Super clean hotel and quite comfortable. Good air-conditioning. I am a light sleeper so some of the front rooms had minor traffic noise, which in most cases shouldn’t bother the average sleeper. Management immediately made every effort to move me to a beautifully appointed suite which was dead quiet-just the way I prefer. Overall this Is a very nice hotel, with nice rooms & facilites, and exemplary staff second to none. Probably one of the best hotels in Rethymno. Would definitely stay again.

Kriti Beach Rethymnon
We booked the kriti Beach hotel in Rethymnon but unfortunately it had not yet opened for the summer season, instead the management of the group that runs the hotel offered us its sister hotel instead, an offer we accepted. You continued to offer the Kriti Beach while it was closed.

Very busy location, good for beach access
The pics of the hotel are a little deceptive; it shows a good size pool, opposite the sea, but in fact the pool is right on the corner of a very busy road, so it's a bit like swimming next to the M25. The beach is very nice, with loungers and umbrellas for hotel guests, but the water looked a little murky, and it's quite close to the harbour, so I'm not sure it's the cleanest beach. Nobody used the pool, and after a couple of hours I could see why. There is little privacy, it's open to view from the street and the tour buses, plus overlooked by buildings on the corner, so not really relaxing. They missed a trick with the planning. Also, although there was a bar near by, there didn't appear to be any staff.

We stayed at Kriti Beach for a week to spend our honeymoon. We couldn't have chosen a better destination and hotel. We were very impressed with the staff who are very nice and professional. The breakfast buffet was superb. Plus you get all the facilities you can ever need: outdoor swimming pool and indoor spa/pool, massage, gym, wifi working everywhere, fridge and safebox in the room, private balcony, quick access to beach with free sunbeds and towels. You can even order drinks from the beach. The hotel is not far from the town center and there are many supermarkets, travel agencies, restaurants, pubs and shops nearby. I think this hotel is perfect for couples and grown-up friends, not for families with kids though. Rethymnon is a lovely destination as well as Chania. Heraklion not so much and its airport is very chaotic though.

Great location -
Really good location - clean room and fabulous breakfast. The beds were uncomfortable - just too hard and so not a good night sleep. Fantastic views to wake up to. Helpful staff - impressed with the breakfast co-ordinator lady who was efficient in the breakfast area with arranging seating and service etc. Lovely to sit outside or in the shade for breakfast. Was disappointed in the swimming pool - but the sea was just a step away and it was glorious. Great location within walking distance to anything you wanted. Memorable stay.

Wir waren zum dritten Mal dort. 2017 und 2018. Als wir nach Corona dann endlich wieder mal im Urlaub waren und wir uns 2023 wieder für das Kriti Beach entschlossen, wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Der hohe Standard wurde beibehalten und altbekannte Gesichter der „Mannschaft“ konnten sich ebenfalls noch an uns erinnern. Das gab uns ein so gutes Gefühl :) Wir lieben dieses Hotel und auch der Ort…. ein Traum. Immer wieder gerne

Sehr gutes Hotel in lebhafter Umgebung, der saubere Strand ist direkt gegenüber, nur durch die Uferstraße getrennt und die Altstadt ist fußläufig erreichbar. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Der Pool ist natürlich klein und wird wohl auch kaum genutzt, denn der Strand mit hoteleigenen kostenfreien Liegen ist direkt gegenüber. Einzig ein paar Handtuchhaken mehr hätte ich mir im Badezimmer gewünscht ;o)

Rom 503 har en jacuzzi på balkongen!
Koselig hotell, rett ved stranden og 5 minutter fra gamlebyen og partygaten. Hotellet tilbyr gjestene sine gratis en egen avdeling på stranden med strandstoler og parasoller. Super belligenhet. Anbefaler rom 503 da det har sjøutsikt og en jacuzzi på balkongen, selv om dette ikke står beskrevet på hotels.com.

Dålig service och ett mediokert hotell
Vi bodde här i 5 nätter. Rummen är väldigt små. Vid en internationell jämförelse så skulle inte hotellet få mer än 3 stjärnor. Läget är bra nära gamla stan och stranden. Personalen är under all kritik. Ingen servicekänsla alls. Extremt dåligt. De enda som hade servicekänsla var städerskan. Receptionen och restaurangen var en katastrof. Jag reser i jobbet mycket och brukar bo på Hyatt, Aman, Mariott och Shangri La mm. Att då kalla detta 4 eller 5 stjärnor är löjligt. Men visst, läget var bra och det var rent på hotellet. Men personalen bör bytas ut direkt! Kreta och Grekland var som vanligt fantastiskt!

Nice top quality hotel
Helt fint hotel og vi hade veldig fine rom med balkong rett mot havet. Vi var dog bare der for en natt for å besøke venner i Rethymnon.

Ett helt OK hotell som ligger väldigt bra till. Men det är väl just läget som gör att hotellet är värt ett övervägande. Små rum, liten pool. OK frukost, inte mer. Inte speciellt prisvärt i min mening men som sagt, bra läge på stranden. Rena och fräscha rum.

Zeer goede locatie,direct aan zee en strand.
Het ontbijt is uitstekend,en zeer goed verzorgd! Het enige minpunt is de badkamer,deze is wel erg klein, zeker de douchecel! .

Kriti Beach, Rethymnon - Kreta
Meg og min kjære var to uker på Kreta denne sommeren, hvor en av ukene var i Rethymnon på Kriti Beach Hotel. Vi var meget positivt overrasket over hotellet, både standard, beliggenhet og service. Byen var også bedre enn forventet. Her var litt for en hver smak, også mulighet for litt shopping, som vi ikke hadde forventet etter en uke i Platanias. Hotellet hadde som nevnt god standard; Vi hadde rom i øverste etasje med havutsikt,som vi hadde bestillt, og disse rommene var helt ny-renoverte. Jeg kommer til å anbefale dette hotellet til andre.

Kriti Beach Hotel - In need of improvements
Very noisy and badly working air condition. Wifi in the room only worked properly in the bath room. Beds were worn out and very noisy in our room as well as others, new ones needed. My wife got pain in the shoulders at this hotel, but not at any of the three other Crete hotels we stayed at. On the bright side: Good breakfast, except for very low quality juices. Very close to a nice beach, a fine gym with good quality equipment, and great to have a balcony.

Ideelt beliggende hotel med egen badestrand og gåafstand til gamle bydel med mange gode spisemuligheder. Lækker morgenmadesbuffet, og meget billig aftenbuffet. Rengøring og service på hotel i topklasse
