We arrived late. The locks on the door did not work properly, the room was filthy, there was poop in the toilet, the shower was broken. We tried reception, but no one was there. We called and told them we did not want to stay and explained the reasons. They indicated that we would not be charged but we would need to get the refund through Expedia. Expedia made attempts to contact and Motel6 decided to “follow the terms and conditions of the booking and not issue a refund.” We paid $193.00. Shocking.

We showed up late and tried. Asking the number on the door for late arrivals and no one answered leaving us stranded with no room for the night. All this after they took my money too. Will never stay nor recommend this place to anyone

I left after being there for a couple of hours. Everything was dirty. The walls, the shower etc. To top it off there was a giant spider on the wall. The security lock on the door was broken off. The shower head was spitting water out of every part of it. Tiles were broken in the bathroom. Overall, just gross. I am a woman and was traveling alone and the guy in the room next to me was extremely creepy (no fault of the hotel). I didn't feel safe, the room felt like it was straight out of a horror movie. So I left.

Bed was lumpy and hard. Floors needed a cleaning. Wall above wall heater needed cleaning. Instant Coffee in a jar had no spoon available. Breakfast area had a tv that was turned off during breakfast. The bathroom fan did not work.

Needs maintenance and replacement of damaged entities. AC unit made noise but not much cold air. Door to room had questionsble security - didnt close properly and deadbolt didnt quite engage. False Advertising!
They must of paid a good deal to a photoshop artist. This place looks nothing like the pictures. The hotel is run down, the hot tub not functioning. You do not feel safe here. The walls are paper thin. Continuos train noise. We couldn't wait to leave.

This motel was disgusting. There was dirt splattered up the wall upon entering the room. The ceiling fans were caked in dust. The place looked as though it had not been cleaned in months. I would never recommend this motel to anyone, ever.

All the negatives in the reviews are accurate. We only stayed here because no vacancy at other accommodations. I would say this is the worst accommodation I have ever stayed at.

Convenient and reasonably priced. Older hotel that is generally clean. Nothing fancy. Like most hotels in Revelstoke it can be noisy due to trains passing.

Had to book two rooms last-minute in Revelstoke and was glad these came up during the busy tourism season. Reasonable rates, older hotel but somewhat updated interiors and large rooms, and it was clean. Parking is convenient.

Front counter clerk wasn't very pleasant. The room is to accommodate 4 people with 2 queen beds, but the kitchenette was not stocked to accommodate 4 people, for example there was one fork for 4 people.

The property was not well maintained. The toilet lid on the tank was taped with armo tape, their was a gap in the flooring at the entrance; the lid on the toilet seat was wobbly and you could see under the entry door at the bottom of the door. On arrival the young woman at the reception area was not very friendly.

Very dirty. Was told I would be charged $10.00 if I lost my extra room key that I had to ask for they only give one. Room smelled very musty and the floors were covered with hair. Would not recommend.

There were cobwebs in the corners of the room with little bugs in them, and the bathroom smelled like a musty old towel. I tried to use Fabreze to get rid of the smell... didn't work.

Choose a different hotel
This was probably the worst stay on our trip from Calgary to Vancouver. The motel is old and in a desperate need of repairs. The people staying there was a mixture of tourists and locals, we believe to be staying there long term. And the state of the property showed it. AC was not working in the first room and instead of accommodating us, we were offered a fan. Only threatening with calling the manager got us another room. Would certainly not stay here again. The state of the first room atrocious and the bathroom was disgusting.

Liked the location. Comfy bed. Good TV. Didn’t like the bathroom-old and mildew. Didn’t like the smell of the cigarette cans outside when the window was open. Very limited coffee supplies. Only gave us one key card at check in, when a second was requested, it was mentioned that there would be a charge of $10 if the second key wasn’t turned in at check out. Didn’t take in the breakfast as it was only breads and cereals. Juice was available. Would have been nice to have fruit and yogurt as well. I don’t think we will return.

The hotel room was definitely not the cleanest. Floor felt dirty, bathroom floor was definitely dirty ( had hair on the floor ) the fan in the bathroom did not work. There was a previous guests article of clothing still under the bed. The blankets were not warm enough.

The room was very dirty. We picked this as a quick, semi budget friendly overnight stay before carrying on on our trip. We are not overly picky but do expect a clean room. The bath tub bottom was peeling, the drain had to be propped open when showering, the floors were filthy, and to top it off outside they for some reason used interior laminate to create a “bench top”. The laminate had been rained on, is peeling, is rotting and the smell is atrocious.
