“Short but Sweet”
Picked this hotel based on reviews from Trip Advisor, and everyone on there was correct! Nice hotel in central Reykjavik. Due to our delayed plane from London we didn't arrive till 2:30 am and had to leave early. WIsh we could've stayed longer. Great room, very clean, a little on the small side but loved it! Hope to journey back to Hotel Reykjavik Centrum one day!
“Very nice place with a great location”
The hotel was very modern with clean neat facilities. And the location could not be better. Excellent breakfast too.
“Great location but small rooms”
Great location beside a great restaurant (Fish Market), clean but small rooms, desk staff seemed disinterested upon our arrival (offered no help w/ our many bags at 1am in the morning and kids in tow).
“Hope to go back!”
Hotel was conveniently located & staff was great. We ate in the dinning room one night & the service was slow & our food, though tasty, was barely warm. They did comp our meal which was not expected but appreciated. Overall stay gets a 4!
“Very good--would stay again”
The hotel staff was very nice--let us check into our room at 7 a.m. when we arrived from the states even though check in wasn't until later. They were very helpful in recommending resturants (we ate in the bar for dinner one night and it was delicious). Great location--right int he center of the city. Rooms were fine--small, clean, warm, with hot water. We were very pleased with the hotel for the price. Would stay again if we come back during the summer to see the whales and puffins.
“great hotel - great location”
My wife and I had a great time in Reykjavik (even with on and off rainy weather) and enjoyed this hotel. The location is great and central to everything (even a museum right next door) excellent restaurants nearby and in the hotel (the wonderful Fishmarket restaurant is also next door with the best tasting menu!) and the hotel staff were all so helpful and friendly. We had a deluxe room which was spacious and clean. Would highly recommend it.
“Terrific hotel”
Lovely hotel.
“Central and clean”
very central, clean and a great base to which explore the city. Within reach of everything
“Great Hotel in Iceland”
Excellent location and service; Clean new rooms slightly bigger than your traditional European hotel (nice surprise). Overall this was probably my best experience with a European hotel when you factor price and quality. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
“Great hotel”
Arrived on an early international flight arrival and witnessed no inkling of annoyance as we checked in at 8AM for our 1 night stay. Don't know if that's the norm but it was very welcoming. Room was very nice. Not large but then again no room in the country seemed very large. Very nice decor. Very friendly staff. Didn't eat there but the restaurant appeared very good. Terrific location!
