Basic accommodation, good location

Posted Feb 21, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: The bathroom really needs improved.
Good Points - 3 mins walk from shopping street, 10 mins walk to church, 10 min walk to harbour area Negative points - very basic, reminded me of student accommodation from 1980's. Bathroom terrible. Sofa bed very uncomfortable, 4 tv channels.

Pleasant

Posted Feb 10, 2015
This is a nice apartment close to shops, cafés, restaurants. Good location, very clean and warm. Only downside would be we ordered a twin room, and it really doesn't look much like the pictures, not very bright and quite small, but for a 2 night stay I was happy enough. Would stay again

Perfekte Lage

Posted Feb 8, 2015
Pros: Lage, Freies WiFi, Freier PC, Freie Inlandstelefonate, Personal sehr hilfsbereit, wenn vor Ort (In der Regel morgens)
Cons: Sauberkeit.

Perfect location great place!

Posted Feb 5, 2015
The location was absolutely perfect! You're about 2 short blocks away from the main drag with shops, art galleries, bars and restaurants, and if you look down the other end of the block? STUNNING view. Breathtaking. The place itself was great. Very comfortable, very cute. It's a wet bathroom, which isn't ideal, but it's fine. The bed was comfortable, the kitchenette was perfect. We loved it.

Perfect hotel with all of the amenities

Posted Feb 4, 2015
We were very happy with this hotel! It is a studio apartment, so you get a full kitchen, which saved us a lot of money. It is in a great location, walking distance to all of the little shops, in the less commercial part of Reykjavik. You can see the water from the hotel, there is plenty of parking and the staff was very nice. We loved it!

Great value room in an excellent location

Posted Feb 1, 2015
Pros: easy check in (you get emailed codes instead of dealing with a reception) clean great location self catering (can save money and eat in one night)
Cons: working reading lamps, front door of hotel does not close properly this should be fixed as security is important here where there is no reception
Location: harbor, hot dog stand, sun voyager sculpture, halgrimskirkja church, all the main restaurants and shops are near too on the main shopping streets
we had a fantastic time. Me and my sister stayed in a 1 bed apartment which had everything you would need! microwave, hob, fridge, plates/cutlery, coffee maker, kettle and in the bathroom a hairdryer. the only downside was that the reading lamps at the beds did not work. they apartment was very modern and clean. It is also 2 mins from the harbor and sun voyager sculpture in one direction and in the other 2 mins from the main shopping streets. It is less than 10 mins walk from the famous halgrimskirkja (probably spelt wrong) church which has lovely views. Also the beds were extremely comfortable and the room had a very good radiator which kept us very very warm. For the price we paid here on expedia it was incredible value for money!

Central and comfortable

Posted Jan 28, 2015
Pros: Room size, location
Cons: Showe cabin (water goes all over bathroom), smell in rooms (smelled cigarette smoke), staff helpfullness, instruction on on-site parking
The apartments are right in the centre, large rooms, equipped kitchen. Self-check in with the code was easy. Beds were comfortable, bathroom clean, but small and with shower water getting all over the bathroom floor. When we came in the non-smoking room it smelled of smoke – the only real downside. When we called the staff, they said that we were mistaking cooking smell for smoking and did not offer another room or any further assistance. We had to ventilate it by opening the windows which brought temperature down to uncomfortable levels (January). We also never managed to find a promised on-site parking (the place behind the building was under construction), but managed to part on the street after a few turns around. Generally good value for money.
