Nice hotel in Heidelberg
The location of the hotel is good. It is within walking distance to the old town. The staff at the reception was helpful.

Excellent staff we were treated like family the rooms were well maintained. The only thing I would improve would be the bathroom. Replace the tub with a shower.

The hotel staff was amazing, very nice and friendly. They made everything possible to make our stay comfortable and had a lot of patience to answer all my questions. I would recommend the superior rooms as they are new and modern. I appreciated that they offered earplugs in the room and loved the little "sleeping spray". In case you need slippers you would have to ask at the reception. As it was Christmas they brought to the room some German specific sweets. All these made our stay so nice and it is also very easy to reach the city centre.

This was a great hotel, within walking distance of beautiful Heidelberg old town. Room was very comfortable, amazing breakfast. Only negative part was service in the pool area wasn’t so great.

+ We stayed in a newly renovated room, so it’s nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Staffs were mostly friendly. Breakfast buffet has a good spread. - No fridge in the room, but there’s ice maker on the same floor. Room is rather small. I chose this hotel because of its beautiful jacuzzi. Unfortunately, it was unaccessible throughout my 5-night stay.

Nice room, it had everything we needed and was quiet. Very good location too, on the tram line from train station (or approx 15 by foot). Excellent spread of food at the buffet breakfast + great coffee! We wanted to go for a swim at 9am but when we arrived, the lady at the pool reception was about to start cleaning. The pool was closed but the lady very kindly let us use it and postponed cleaning time. We had the pool to ourselves and it was lovely! Thank you for a great stay in a beautiful city :)

The sheets were a little stiff but they did have options to buy softer sheets and pillows of varying support. Loved that we got complimentary bottled water every time they cleaned our room and bottle of wine on our first night. We stayed for 10 nights and after about a week they put a tray of cookies, mini cupcakes, and fruit in our room as thank you for being their guest and thought that was just very sweet. Room service was a bit expensive but food was very good and it was very convenient when we had been out all day on our feet. Had a lovely stay.

Even though this property is not in the old town, it was still close by and worth the walk for air conditioning. Crowne service was amazing and the rooms were a good size and very clean. I would definitely recommend it especially in summer.

The hotel is very well situated, near the Old Town. It is very tidy and well appointed. For us, the kindness and excellence of the staff was notable and greatly appreciated. My wife had suffered a foot sprain. The staff assisted fully and most helpfully provided a wheelchair for the two days of our stay together with assistance in getting to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment. We are most grateful for their concern and much needed help.

Sent my lost item back to me in the USA!
Over the last few years, business has taken me to Heidelberg several times and I've tried a few of the hotels. The Crowne Plaza has become my favorite for several reasons. Nice clean, friendly hotel with a great location. The only thing I didn't 5 star was comfy. However, Its not their fault, just like all Americans in European hotels, we prefer fluffier beds and more TV in English. This hotel has a great breakfast, many restaurants within walking distance and a nice bar for evening relaxing. The club lounge is quiet and convenient. They also have a courtyard to have a coffee and watch people and traffic walk by. I have to give the staff a huge thank you. On my last visit, I was there for only a couple of days and did not have much luggage. I left behind a favorite shirt. Once I got home, I emailed the hotel who found my shirt and mailed it back to me in the USA. Thank you so much!!!
