Very comfortablePosted Aug 9, 2013
Pros: Very comfortable, room size was OK.
Marriott Hotel is a 10 minute walk from train station. It is NOT located in the touristic part of the city, but it is in a nice region. If you want to go to the tourist attractions, you need to walk for around 20 minutes. Another option is to take the tram, the nearest station is a 5 minute walk. The tram is not expensive and arrives quickly. Hotel is very comfortable, personnel speaks good English and is friendly.

Good but expensivePosted Aug 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Get it with breakfast included. The location is good for getting the bus and tram or ever walking. My wife and I actually walked to oldtown and the shopping everyday. Parking is an extra 20€ per day and breakfast is 23€ per person for eggs and fruit. The restaurant has the best steak I have ever had but was 60€ for two people without wine. Just keep the extra costs in mind when staying here.

Cleaning staff are lazyPosted May 24, 2013
Cons: Cleaning staff
Location: Easy walk to city centre
The cleaning staff is extremely lazy. Bed sheets were not straightened, just pulled up. I found long black hairs in my bedding..... Not what you would expect from a hotel of this standard and price

Hotel on the riverPosted May 13, 2013
Pros: Nice view, good room service, modern accommodations
Cons: Temperature control, facility quiet hours.
Got a room on the 4th floor. Nice window overlooking the river and modern accommodations. Temperature control in the room but it didn't seem to work too well. We had the A/C on our entire stay but it seemed to shut off in the middle of each night and switch to just blowing air. Needless to say, we'd wake up around 4a.m. each morning in a hot room. Room was quite pricey but didn't include parking or internet (both additional, daily fees). Room service menu was in both English and German and had a decent selection of items. Only real issue was that the window we had overlooking the river also overlooked the hotel's back courtyard. The last night of our stay, they had a party in the restaurant/ballroom and several drunk/loud guests overflowed into the courtyard where they began screaming/yelling and just being generally rowdy. This didn't stop till well after midnight and calls to the front desk about the situation were met with indifference. In a nutshell, if you want to get a full night's sleep and a view of the river, you may want to call ahead and make sure they don't have an event scheduled for your stay.

Staff are very obliging, what you need with a small baby. The gym and pool were nice and the views of the river were also pretty good too.
