This is a very well situated hotel close to the centre of town. The facilities are generally very good and service is excellent. Some areas (such as the main staircase carpet) need a little refurbishment but it's a great hotel all the same.

The hotel was very convenient to the historic sites nearby as well as a short walk to the train station. The hotel is older and in need of some renovations which could make it grander. Love the hotel history! The staff was especially helpful and understanding at the front desk with directions and reservation changes. Thank you!

It was hot weather and it has not work air condition, I had same experience before Covid-19. Otherwise it is well organized overall meaning very comfortable hotel.

The location is great only few minutes to the city center and to the railways station. The hotel needs a huge update to be able to catch up with other hotels . I was extremely dissatisfied with the toilet cleanliness it was yellow inside and on the toilet seat itself . A bit disgusting I would say . The smell from AC took our breath away , it was hot and we needed it . The way from parking to the hotel has steps and there was no light directly on the stairs. I thought about people who arrive with a big suitcase or disable person this could be tricky . They would have to go around the building to enter the hotel .

Beware of Air conditioning
The AC didn’t work. I change 2 rooms but the condition was the same . They asked me to open the window , provide a table fan to sleep. It was hot and I guess everyone was complaining that day. The staff was friendly , they tried to sort the issue but I guess there was a total air conditioning failure

An excellent hotel , superbly located in the city centre . Very helpful desk staff . Parking gives direct access to the hotel and reasonably priced . The room was very comfortable and I got a great nights sleep . I will be using this hotel again

The hotel is at an excellent location very near to central station Mannheim and you could easily understand that the staff are well trained and thoroughly professional. Rooms were neat and well kept. The breakfast was simply great with all different choices and the area was kept so neat with staffs around to help you out in case you needed any with kids seats or you want something extra. The only thing was that the view outside was not best for our room. Still truly loved our experience staying there.

Great location - easy walk from train station
We stayed one night to visit the winter lights at the park about a mile away. Perfect location, easy walk from train station. Front desk very friendly, spoke English. We didn't eat in the restaurant but looks very nice. Was surprised to hear guests next door talking in the morning because the building seems pretty solid. Other than that it was very quiet location, comfy bed, large bathroom.

Manager Thorsten Molders is useless
If service and help matter to you, don't stay here. Don't expect good service or help if you have issues. Especially from the front desk manager Thorsten Molders. They'll just ignore the problem and try and shuffle you along on your way without actually trying to help. Find another hotel in the area, there are plenty.

Nice hotel with small deficiencies
Nice location, room was cozy and in good condition. It got very cold in the room in the night and I had to get up to increase the heating power and the radiator made loud noise. Also, the toilet did not flush very well. I enjoyed the small sauna.

Everything is very good at the hotel, staff and the amenities. The only thing which is bad is the parking situation. if you stay longer, pay attention to the parking costs.
