Great & knowledgable staff! The only thing was the amount of DUST BUNNIES throughout the room. 2 actual fans were in the room but we couldn't get them apart to clean the blades.

The ONLY complaint we have is that our room was NOT air-conditioned and it was 84 degrees when we attempted to go to sleep at 9:30 pm. Not a good night even with the balcony door open as the night eventually cooled off.

This modern hotel was the highlight of our trip to Germany, mainly because of the staff, who were incredible—very facile with English and extremely helpful arranging tix for the Rhine River cruise (Bingen to St Goar), and rental bicycles for our ride back. The hotel was situated on the river, easily accessible, lots of parking, and absolutely fantastic in every way.

Staff was very friendly and prompt. Hotel needs to be updated. Room was unbearable hot, no -ac which was expected but door to balcony did not open all the way for air circulation (desk blocked). Balcony was covered with spider webs and room was extremely loud due to train next door. Bathroom had mildew and stains. Room seemed to be cleaned well but was just so outdated with paint and mildew issues.

When this hotel was built in 1989 (I saw a dated cornerstone), it must have been a go-to location for company gatherings, conferences and other exciting events that needed to take place in a picture-perfect place like Bingen. Since that time, however, I cannot tell that it has been significantly updated (other than a new TV and faucet in the room). The place has charm, and it is pretty much the only formal hotel close to the Bingen hbf, but it could use an update. All of the staff were delightfully friendly; the breakfast was great (costs extra and goes until 12 p.m. on Sundays!); the beautiful restaurant is open early for breakfast and stays open until late at night; It is also beautiful and overlooks the Rhine. The service was excellent in every way. They held our bags for us while we sojourned around the town during the day and gave us water bottles upon our return. We paid a bit extra to get a room with a balcony and river view. The balcony did, technically, overlook the river, but it was on the bottom floor, and we couldn't really see anything. There is an option to get book a room that overlooks the river but does not have a balcony. Based on my visit to the property, that seems like the best option.

All great except the blocked view of the Rhein!
The hotel was great, breakfast was delicious and the staff were super friendly and helpful. But I suggest asking for a room *not* on the top floor as there is an architectural feature on the building exterior that completely blocks what would be a great view! Why would anyone do that?!

Very small room with a single bed. Pillow was not comfortable as it was not firm. The shower was small. If you open the window of the room on the 4th floor, you are greeted by a large overhang that spoils the view. Disappointing.

View was great out of the window I had and the beds were comfy. However there was little choice of restaurant food but there were several nice local restaurants in the town 5 minutes walk away. The bathroom was tired with cracks in the sink and stained with a deep red colour. Breakfast was adequate but tasty.

Very nice but could use some updating in the room
Had a very nice stay, the room could use some updating but was clean and comfortable, had a river view. Location was perfect, about a 10 minute walk from the main train station (be sure to use the underground walk way). Close to restaurants and center of town. I thought breakfast was expensive so I didn’t partake so not sure if it’s worth it.

I stayed in one of the non-renovated rooms and was very please. The view of the river and hillside vineyards across the water were beautiful. The room had a certain charm that you don’t get in modern rooms.

A bigger yet charming hotel right on the Rhine River. Views of the river are incredible from some of the rooms and within the dining room. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They charge for parking but there is a public parking area just adjacent and for half the price. There are several Rhine River cruise options within a short walk from the hotel. Be sure to cross over to Rudesheim.

The NH is a good center point for vacationing on the Rhine. Close to the train station and across the river from Rudesheim. While the hotel is mostly nice, there are many maintenance items that need to be addressed. Overall, it was a pleasant place to stay.

NH Bingen
We have stayed here before & like it's location on the banks of the Rhine & Nahe rivers. It seems to cater for a lot of coach parties & business people. It's a very clean & modern type of hotel with lots of space throughout. Clean comfy rooms with nice décor with tea & coffee facilities plus mini bar/fridge. We had a nice view of the vineyards across the Rhine. A little train noise at night though nothing like as bad as most of the Rhine, it's a price you have to pay for staying on the riverside. Staff we met were very polite. Parking available outside but you now have to pay but it's much cheaper than the hotel rate underground, free parking is available but 5 - 10 mins walk away. We always love the garden areas along the bank of the river, for a non tourist town they do an excellent job of making it worth a visit. Easy boat access up & down river plus across to Rudesheim.
