“Nice hotel”

Nice room, not spectacular, but nice.Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate, nice variety. Indoor pool and jacuzzi tub open late at night, great for late arriving travelers. Neighborhood not very upscale, but Rhinelander is a small town, so you can't fault the location.

Area recommendations
Rhinelander appears to be an older, economically depressed community. I didn't see an area of town that I would specifically recommend, but due to the weather (cold, snowy) we didn't go seeking activities or parks.

“Great for Cranberry Fest”

This was a wonderful hotel with one exception - no elevator. As a person recovering from knee surgery, I had difficulty handling the stairs. I didn't request a first floor room in anticipation there would be an elevator. Next time I will ask.

Area recommendations
The east side of Rhinelander is the developing area and a great place to be.
When to go
First weekend of October for Cranberry Fest in Eagle River, Wisconsin.

“Clean hotel in Rhinelander”

The hotel was exactly what you would expect. It was clean and well lit. The indoor pool was well maintained. The staff was very polite and attentive. The continental breakfast was very good.
