I liked this quaint property. Our room was kind of different with beds up in a loft. My only complaint is that it was very hot up there and the air didn’t seem to cool up there. The pool, cleanliness and bar area was great. This is a great hotel at a great price.

Excellent place to stay. Relaxing and friendly. Good facilities, wifi and use of washing machine. Good pool - didn't feel overcrowded. 10mins walk from beach.

The staff here were amazing! I am a solo traveler and I felt safe in this neighbourhood. The beach was in walking distance and the pool was lovely. There was public transport only a 5 min walk which easily got you into town and other beaches. There was also a lift so you don’t have to cart you luggage up the stairs. I will be back!

We loved staying at the Sunday hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was terrific and the options at the bar were great. They have a great pool and the rooms are beautiful!

Love the hotel and the staff. Breakfast was delicious. My room was always clean. The pool area is great for relaxing. Great location. Easy walk to restaurants or the beach. Close to bus stop to head to Old Town.

Friendly staff and the room had everything you need. The hotel has a nice pool and pool bar and is in walking distance from many restaurants and bars, overall a nice hotel in a great area

The hotel arranged our shuttle with no issues from the airport, ensured we were picked up immediately as the flight was delayed so our arrival was late and we had never been to the island before. The staff was amazingly accommodating it was 12:30 am and they even kept the bar open so we could have a quick drink before bed. The next morning again they were very helpful and arranged a car rental. The service is outstanding.

Very small and quiet, staff are all very lovely and rooms clean. Only draw back was that our room was on the ground floor right next to the public toilets, elevator and stairs so it was very loud

Wish I’d stayed longer.
I booked Sunday hotel as a place to stay on the way to other accommodation because I was coming into the airport fairly late. Everything about it was excellent. Great communication and check in and the room was fantastic with a nice sized balcony. Pool Zumba looked fun and I’d definitely join in if I’d known it was happening so perhaps a bit of info would be good. The breakfast was awesome for an extra cost. One thing that would be nice is a few sachets of tea/coffee in the room to get started. Arriving in late with horrendous jet lag it would have been nice to be able to make a cup of something in the room.

We saw a cockroach in the room
Negative: - Our room was at the basement. There was a cockroach problem. - It was difficult to find someone at the reception. Each time we had a problem, we had to go to the hotel bar and ask for the receptionist/manager. - They did not replace soaps or shampoos during 4 nights that we stayed. - They tried to charge us twice for our drinks (luckily we had the receipts). - Each time we had a complaint, they gave excuses instead of apologizing. Positive: - Location was good. Easy bus ride to Rhodes old town. - Furnitures were new. Bathroom was nice. Kitchen had all the basic appliances. - Hotel staff and manager was polite.

We would like to thank our guest for taking the time to review their stay with us. We understand that there were some issues during their stay that made it less enjoyable and we would like to apologise for that. However there are some things mentioned in this review that we would like to address. - The cockroach problem was never reported and there were no issues in other rooms during this period. - The room type the guest booked is on the ground floor and this is what they got. Our rooms located on the ground floor have lowered outdoor spaces but they are well above the ground (ceiling is over 3m above street level) and cannot be described as basement. - Reception operates during limited hours and there are prominent signs with operation times. Additionally there is an intercom located right next to the reception door with clear operating instructions that guests can use to speak with a live operator when reception is closed. Also please note that guests receive an email after check in with instructions about this process. The guests instead of using this feature preferred to ask at the bar and the stuff were more than happy to assist them. - The guests were never asked to pay twice for their drinks. At check out the receptionist politely asked them to wait while she checked if there were any room charges which is a standard check out procedure. However the guests became extremely annoyed about it and produced the receipts, even though the receptionist explained that this was not necessary. Please note that it would be unreasonable to try to charge guests twice and at the same time give receipts. - Finally it is a bit contradicting that the guest mentioned both a bad and a good attitude from hotel stuff. Here at Sunday all members are committed to provide a friendly and professional service always trying to offer the best possible service.

Perfect for a chilled out few days
Yes, a bit out of the way but a lovely little hotel, if you're looking for a chilled time you'll love it. Rooms spacious, everything you need. Nice pool/garden area, bar/restaurant good, staff very friendly. Would definitely book it again!

Fantastic family run hotel
We only stayed here for 3 nights but wish we had stayed longer! The family run hotel is very friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Lovely pool and chilled out environment. Off the main roadblock so not too noisy and right near the supermarket and beach! Amazing location for an amazing hotel! We will definitely be coming back in the future and will be staying a bit longer next time

Lovely family run hotel
Lovely stay at Sunday hotel, a very friendly family run hotel. Rooms cleaned and fresh towels provided daily. All the staff are very friendly and always greet you with a smile. Nice pool with plenty of sun loungers. Excellent freshly made food which is very reasonably priced. The hotel is very close to the beach, supermarkets and bus stop. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Liked the maisonette-style top-floor room with balcony. Bar and dining area was easily accessible and the menu was sufficiently varied to accommodate most tastes. The elevator could do with a manual door-closing feature.

Lovely little hotel.
Lovely little hotel. Room was fairly newly renovated with a nice modern bathroom, and plenty of hot water. Nice little pool and bar area, and a lovely friendly family running the place. With the added benefits that it's set back slightly off the main road and off the flight path, and with the main Carrefour supermarket just a minutes walk away, which is much cheaper than the other tourist supermarkets. Would highly recommend to anyone that's wanting good value accommodation in between the Ialyssos and Ixia areas.

A brief but perfect stay.
Arriving at 2 after midnight after a late flight, I was a little worried, but everything worked perfectly. Someone was at the reception desk, so I got into my room without trouble, and there was even water and some things for me to eat. Next morning, the pool was perfect, and the breakfast was really tasty and with a great variety.

Perfect base for a Rhodos visit.
We have stayed at the Sunday Hotel several times now. Every time a couple of days before (and after) visiting the smaller islands around Rhodos. The Sunday Hotel in Ialyssos is a perfect choice for staying in Rhodes. Fair prices, nicely renovated studios, pool, kind staff, supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Nothing to dislike here.

Fantastic value for money on both the accommodation and restaurant/bar, the included breakfast was spotless and all corona precautions kept with food served from buffet by staff. Restaurant has a small card but with great food and pizzas, all at very cheap prices. Parking around the hotel on the street was no problem at all - its located away from the traficated road. Amazing staff, always friendly, smiling and helpful. Makes you feel truely welcome.

Ihana perhehotelli hiljaisella sijainnilla. Ainoa miinus, minulle annettiin ensin varaustani alempi luokkainen huone, valitin ja sain mikä piti. Huone ei kyllä vastannut täysin nettisivujen kuvaa vaan oli nuhjuisempi. Mainittakoon vielä, että äänieristys erittäin huono. Altaan äänet kaikuivat huoneeseen vaikka olin kuulokkeet korvilla. Ja mikäli ampiaisille olet allerginen, niitä pörräili altaan ritilöillä n 10 kpl aina kerralla. Eivät tulleet ihmisten luo vaan siinä altaan reunalla pyörivät. Iso supermarket 50 m päässä!
