“Excellent Hotel and Location”

We recently had a nine night stay at the hotel, and were very impressed by the service and cleanliness of the place.Bedrooms were small by normal standards, but the city of lyon provided so many attractions that we were hardly ever in the room.Transport links around the city were fantastic and all were based around the train station which was adjacent to the hotel.The regional shopping centre which was a short walk from the hotel was a shoppers dream, and the city boasted a fantastic variety of bars and restaurants.The developments on the banks of the rhone have led to a wonderful area for strolling with many water features and recreational areas.

“Sauberes, günstiges Zimmer in zentraler Lage”

Wer für einen Kurztrip nach Lyon fährt wird sich im Campanile Hotel sehr wohl fühlen. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und das Zimmer ist günstig und sauber. Ein moderner Flachbildfernseher ist genauso vorhanden wie ein Wasserkocher inklusive Teebeutel, Kaffeepulver etc für ein warmes Getränk auf dem Zimmer. Das Personal ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Einzig wer länger bleibt dürfte die fehlende Minibar vermissen...

“good basic hotel”

We arrived in Lyon late, crashed in bed, and left early. The hotel was great for our basic needs and we wished we had more time to explore as was our original intention. If we knew we just needed a stopover we would not have stayed here as it is central to the city. That makes it difficult with a rental car. However, if we return to Lyon and actually have time to check out the sites we will stay here.
