I found a deal for $55/ night at this hotel. Traveled to the Dallas area with family, and most of them chose a hotel directly next door for $75/ night. Every time they came to our hotel, they said "man... this is so much nicer than ours!"
I was afraid that the pictures weren't true-to-life. However, this is a great modern hotel (where the furniture is well designed and there are power plugs coming out of every lamp and armrest). Very clean with friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for business travel or vacationing. I would certainly go back, even if it cost me more the next time.

Overall, I loved my stay at this hotel. It was immaculate and the staff bent over backwards to help in any way they could. The food in their restaurants was top notch also. My only gripes were an undisclosed $11/day parking fee (which was waived when I told them it was never disclosed at check-in) and that, as a 4-star hotel, they should NOT be charging guests separately to use the internet (~$15/day). Granted, the internet usage was optional, but I've stayed in 1-star hotels that don't charge for internet. When I'm spending this much for an amazing stay, I just expect it to be included in the price.

This hotel is the nicest hotel of it's kind in the Richardson area. We have stayed at 2 other suite like hotels within a mile of Residence Inn and the facilities were not up to standards. We were very pleased and comfortable with our stay. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to see our daughter at UTD. While the breakfast buffet was good, it would have been nice to have meat products.
