Okay stayPosted Feb 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
The Rodeway Inn in Salina was a better experience than others going to Region Wrestling had at even lesser establishments. This hotel was clean and very no frills. It would be better if they didn't offer a continental breakfast so that we would have scheduled our time differently to get something else for breakfast :(. It is like when you have unexpected guests and you dig out what you happen to have for breakfast.

Not bad for the pricePosted Dec 26, 2013
This hotel is right choice if you want to take a break from the long drive between Denver - Nevada route. Right next to 70 freeway, it was worth for the price i paid for a night stay. The hotel room was clean and smelled good. The staff were friendly.

Would not stay here again.Posted Oct 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The overall cleanliness was sub-standard. This must be the bottom barrel for Choice Priviledge!

Chose based on location & price. Was warned that this motel had bedbugs! The check-in staff was pleasant & my reservation was correct, including request to be on ground floor. A couple at the front desk complained that the sauna did not work, the spa was still cold after 20 min. & the water was dirty. The building clearly advertises "Pool, spa & sauna". Room 104 was good size, clean enough & well appointed, although everything except flat screen TV seemed old, dated & cheap. The carpet was dark & the edges worn. Fresh paint was nice color, but sloppily applied - worst paint job I've ever seen! Checked between mattresses for bedbugs & found huge amount of white powder - probably borax detergent, which is effective in killing bedbugs & fleas (pets accepted for an extra $15/nt). So it appears they did have a problem but seems remedied, as I neither saw nor felt any bedbugs. The bed was old but reasonably comfy. The AC did not work: would not cycle on, so only warm air blew out of the old, dusty unit. Thankfully, there was a good ceiling fan overhead, so eventually slept ok. Breakfast began at 0600 - nice for travelers - but the food was very limited: all cheap carbs except for juices & milk. I opted for fresh waffle: pretty good. Of course, all plates were cheap styrofoam - not very ecofriendly! Not sure I'd stay here again...
