Very satisfied, but ...Posted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were satisfied with the service that the hotel provided overall. However, one problem is we had hard time finding the hotel! They need a big sign on the nearby major street. The location was hidden, and there was a "Do Not Enter" sign in front of the hotel (so we thought we should not enter the street). Even though we had a GPS device in our car, we got lost. When we called the hotel, their assistance was very helpful.

This suite was perfect for my 4 daughters and I to meet and spend a few days together. There was lots of room for us to spread out, it was close to restaurants, shopping and a major freeway to get us around town. The pool was very nice, we enjoyed the breakfast buffet and even had a complimentary supper that was very good.

Exceeded ExpectationsPosted Aug 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a great time here at the Residence Inn. Everything was extremely clean. The staff could not have been nicer. Breakfast was great every morning. All the food tasted great. Completely exceeded my expectations. Furthermore, while on the subject of food, the market seemed small, but well stocked. There were different kinds of beers and wines. Also, snacks and frozen dinners. I appreciate the hotel because you can be as healthy or unhealthy as you would like. The gym was also nice. There were only three machines: a treadmill, bike, and elliptical. I can see how some may think this was small, but right next door there is a fully loaded community center with a large gym, lap pool, spa, etc. We also enjoyed ourselves every day in the pool, which was also clean. The staff went above and beyond, which I was really pleased with. Every staff member seemed very friendly and willing to accommodate. This would be a great place to stay if wanting to take advantage of the Metro Link. It is very close. The hotel has a great location. The WiFi worked great in all areas of the hotel, even in my room.

Would have been fine, except....Posted Jul 3, 2013
Pros: The room was the perfect size and configuration for a couple and two singles. It was nice having a kitchen with fridge.
Cons: There could be at least a tea kettle and a few pots and pans provided!
Location: St. Louis is not a big city. Anything you would want to do there is no more than a 15 minute drive.
The hotel was fine. It kind of looked like a condo village with about 4 units in each building. I booked this room because my husband and I were traveling with my teen aged daughter and my mother-in-law and we wanted them to have separate rooms. The best I could do for the price was this hotel. Our room had a loft area with a bed and a pull out couch in main area which also included a small kitchen and dining table. It all sounded great on paper. When I checked into the hotel, I was asked to sign a waiver that we wouldn't have more than four people staying in the room, that there would be no parties thrown, and that we would be responsible for any damage. For a family type small hotel belonging to a major chain, I thought this was kind of unusual. We soon discovered that the two rooms below us was a revolving door of home boys and hotties. We couldn't tell if they were into selling sex or drugs, or both. It was a constant revolving door with various people standing outside of the rooms to smoke...There were parties on both weekend nights and alcohol bottles littered about outside the morning after. I would have complained but it worried me to do so, plus a hotel staffer was seen bringing them more towels. We didn't understand WHAT was going on here! At the end of the stay, we mentioned something to manager and he said that this "family" was placed there by insurance company because their house was burnt down. Unpleasant at best.

Pros: Kitchen in room, hot breakfast, pool
Cons: Kitchen equipment i.e., number of plates/bowls, cooking utensils and vessels.
Location: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION - we went to the zoo, magic house, Mill Mall, botanical garden, Grants Farm, all 20 min or less away!
This was a great hotel that offered a FULL kitchen and FULL HOT BREAKFAST every morning. However, they told me it was a fully equipped kitchen BUT was seriously lacking some basic elements. Overall, super location and hotel!

Great place to stay!Posted May 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was my second stay at this hotel and they fixed the only thing that was wrong from the first time and it was offering wifi in the rooms. I wish I had that room when I spent 2 months in Japan would have made my stay there so much better!
