Bring noise protectionPosted Nov 14, 2014
The appearance of the hotel was fine, with a friendly staff. The building is very new with very thin walls. Construction outside the window started around 630 or so. After complaint I was competed 2000 points in their rewards program.

Get location!Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Modern feel.
Cons: Direction to check-in to lobby from garage.
Location: Glen Allen. I loved the quaint feeling of the area with restaurants near by.
Very nice stay. Staff was very nice and helpful. The front of the hotel was confusing, as far as how to get to the lobby. I feel it needs more signs directing guests where to go.

The bad news is that when we was packing to leave, my daughter and I found an empty condom wrapper under the bed.

Always FunPosted Aug 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
I really enjoyed my stay. It was close to everything and always comfortable. I have gotten so use to Aloft Properties that whenever I travel, I look to see if there is one in the city where I will be staying. I have three trips coming up and noticed that there is an Aloft in all three cities so that is where I will stay. I love the fact that they have a bar and pool table in the hotel so we never really go any where when we stay at the hotel. Keep continuing to give great locations and extremely great customer service. Love yall !

Not again!Posted Aug 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
Wow, dumb me! I stayed at this hotel about 1.5 years ago. How did I forget the noise galore and that they were constructing all the areas around it, starting well before sunrise!... or how could I not remember that the hotel was, to use the receptionist's words, "a big hole", with NO WIFI in the gym, the halls, and dubious service in the room. Then compile that dirth with a storm and no satellite TV, and no direct pay movies. Pathetic!! Get with it, Aloft! This was inexcusable. The only upside was Whole Foods was an easy block walk away.I ain't going back-- this time I will not forget the glaring shortcomings.
