I would recommend this hotel if you are only staying for a night

“Visit to Virginia”

Old mattress, very simple breakfast, outside areas old, needs updating

“Not a good place for families to stop”

While the motel had good access to King's Dominion, which was our objective, during our Saturday night stay there were a lot of cars parked in the lot, and a lot of people hanging out in the parking lot. It made manuevering your car very difficult and I wasn't comfortable having my kids in the room while people were hanging out outside.

This hotel seems to be very old and needs a lot of upgrading.I was not impress upon arrival. The odor in the lobby wasnt pleasant and in the room as well. The room wasnt very clean seems the hotel workers may have cut a lot of corners. The sheets were worn,the shower was stained . There were just too many flaws for me to mention I will not be staying there again. My lesson learned is to trust the star ratings of the hotel and the written reviews of the hotels.

“Enjoyed my stay”

I was there for 4 days attending a conference. The room was relatively clean. I think the bathroom could have been scrubbed better, but overall, it was nice. The people were very friendly and informative. The location of the motel was very close to restaurants and to my conference and the mall was within 7 miles. I had a very nice experience overall.

“Wonderful Staff”

Excellent customer service, the woman at the front desk was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and was just very friendly. The cleaning crew was also very nice.

“Passable if you are REALLY tight on money at the VA State Fair..”

I was staying with my 2 daughters and felt it was pretty sketchy. Relieved to see a police car parked next to mine the next morning! Room was old, air conditioner had one setting that translated into "not good", there was a roach under the coffee maker, and the free breakfast was so bad! No fruit, yoghurt, or decent baked goods. Toast, cereal, tea, coffee, juice, instant oatmeal, and cheap nasty little muffins and bagels. BUT we saved $20 a night compared the the next exit up 95 (King's Dominion) so it depends how important the money is. Oh yes, no wireless. Seems that's a problem at the Ashland exit.

“Richmond Race”

The room was adequate, but the air conditioner did not function properly all of the time. I think that there was an issue with the thermostat. It would cool sometimes and sometimes be too hot. The door had space around it and the windows curtains did not block all of the light. The breakfast buffet could have been better, left a lot to be desired.

“Would stay again”

I was very impressed at the cleanliness of the hotel room. For the price, I was not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised.
