This was the first time I had traveled alone, as a woman. It was for a weekend wedding. I’m a smoker, and go outside to smoke. The outside is well lit and clean. I did not see any nefarious activity (as another reviewer suggested). The rooms are large, the beds comfortable, and it was quiet. I would definitely stay again!

The lady never allowed me to check in because I had rabbits, even though the hotel says they are pet friendly. I told her they are in transport cages and they will never touch the room or the floor. She asked the manager and I was told I would not be able to stay there and to call Expedia to cancel. When I called Expedia, the hotel claimed I never checked in or showed up.

Staff was nice and made checking in super simple. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was so clean and nice. The beds were full size not queen size, but they were okay. We were two adults with our daughters so it wasn’t a problem. Overall everything was great. It was very quiet and there were plenty of parking spaces.

From home to relaxation.
We booked to be close to the State Fair. But having a nice Hotel to be comfortable ,clean and having a bathroom with plenty of towels and clean,as well as the room itself clean bed comfortable an everything in working order is a must for us. This Hotel was more than we have experienced in a long time.But we were shocked to even notice how quiet it was to sleep and not wake up to people making noise showering and slamming doors. And it had a pleasant smell from the time we walked into the front doors as well as our room.

Where to begin i guess at check in... lobby, breakfast area, halls feel like saunas. On check in the Muslim woman assures us the elevator works, but to get to first floor you need to poke the button very hard, and it'll work. So within 1/2 hour of us getting there the elevator was out of order because someone followed her instructions, and the buttons fell out of their holes. So being on the second floor with the 2 rooms i reserved "together " at opposite ends of the hallway. We took 4 small children down the the hot stair well to the pool that was freezing, or at least felt that way since halls, lobby were all so hot. While at the pool that's located right down the hall from where breakfast is prepared and served we watched some of the biggest cockroaches race around the hallways. Got pics, but don't see anywhere to load. Matresses are terrible we all woke up with back and/ or neck pain. Candy wrappers under with bed you could see soon as you entered the room. Trash setting on alram clock. Greeted by a good sizes spider in the shower this morning. Breakfast wasn't bad unless you want to waffle. Three attempts all raw inside. Set timer twice then they're a crunchy brick. So when i got on here to do this review i seen they're full for the weekend! Hope everyone staying on 2nd and 3rd floor can walk steps, and carry belongings up 2..3 hot levels. Because the 1 and only elevator that's not been working properly for awhile is closed

A few things that were really great was the free breakfast. It was really delicious and my children enjoyed all the choices. And the room was clean and pretty cozy while the cost was cheap. And in general it was amazing!

My family had an excellent 3 day stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It appeared as if the motel was recently renovated. The new finishes in the bathroom were exceptional. The furniture and the door hardware seemed dated. A good breakfast; waffles, eggs and sausage and the other standards. Recommend for an overnight stay or several days while visiting Kings Dominion (10 minutes south on I-95).

No staff at desk for long periods. No staff seen anywhere for greater than 30 minutes. The room had leaky toilet with water on floor. Staff unconcerned.Staff lackadaisical.Bugs in room dead and alive. We moved to another hotel the next day.

I rented 2 room 111 and 112 both rooms were dirty had to go get sheets from desk the pull out bed had mice poop we had to have them bring in a roll out bed they gave us dirty little pillows so we purchased renown from Walmart as well as sheets for the kids , the toilet wouldn’t flush we said something g to the manager who told us they would give us a plunger so we could fix it, the next day when we came back in it was ants all over the table , and the pool had dirty cups in it and look like it hadn’t been cleaned the rooms look nothing like the pictures online I will never stay there again

We stayed here for 2 nights. The lobby & hallways were hot and muggy, no AC on when it's 90 degrees outside. Luckily the AC worked in the room. The room door had paint scratched off it and looked as if it had been busted in a time or two bc the lock was loose and didn't fully latch. It usually took 2-3 times of the key card to get the door to open. The breakfast was ok, but they need a second waffle maker bc that line was horrible. If we ever need to stay in the area again, we will stay elsewhere.
