This was a beautiful hotel. Staff was very efficient and courteous. Great location for restaurants and shopping.
“Brand new & much better than expected”
I figured a medium price Courtyard hotel would be "OK" but I was really impressed when we arrived. This hotel is NEW and rather "upscale" with modern decor. The room was LARGE & well appointed. Cafe in lobby was simple but did the job. Highly recommend.
“Great Stay but watch your charges”
Could not have asked for a nicer hotel. My only complaint is that because I used Expedia the hotel required a credit card to check in. That was fine, but what they did not inform me was they automatically place a $40 charge on your card "just in case of incidentals". Although my checkout balance was $0. No room service ect., it took almost 3 1/2 weeks for the charge to be removed from my credit card. That was only after 3 phone calls to the hotel. The last one to management was never returned.....not very professional.

I had a great experience at the hotel. The staff was professional and friendly. The room was lovely and spaceous. I had a wonderful stay.
“Modern, but efficient”
We didn't realize that we were arriving on "Race Weekend" so were very glad that we had gotten reservations by Expedia. The hotel is very modern in appearance. I would even call the rooms a bit stark, but they were comfortably large.. The closet was an armoire by the desk, which I found unusual. Husband and I shared a King room, and we had a connecting room with 2 Queen beds for the rest of the family. The pillows were small and unpleasant to sleep on. In both of our rooms the toilet seats wiggled. That is always one of my pet peeves where ever I travel. There was in room coffee, but they also had a choice of coffees in the lobby for free. The elevators were very efficient. We never had to wait more than a minute for one. We heard very little noise from other rooms or the hallway. The front desk employees were very friendly and efficient. Both check in and check out were great. One grandson even enjoyed telling them where he was going every time he went past the desk. The pool area was very nice, never crowded, but the hot tub was a bit hotter than we have enjoyed before. The towels provided there were large and absorbent. Breakfast was not complimentary! Matter of fact it was quite expensive , so we didn't eat there. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance or easy driving distance.
“Pleasantly Surprised”
Can't wait to go back next year. Hotel was accurately depicted on website and the front desk staff was extremely courteous and helpful. As a first-time Expedia user, I called in advance to confirm my reservation and everything was scheduled as expected.
