“We would stay there again the next time we are in Richmond>”

My husband had plan on taking our fifth wheel camper to Richmond but unforeseen circumstances prevented us from doing it. So when I went on line to see what my options were this hotel was the best offer for what our budget allowed us. My husband"s niece graduated from high school that weekend and we very much wanted to see her. We were very pleased with the location, price, convinience and the service we received at Day's Inn. We would stay ther again should the need arise.

“Nice Hotel for the Price”

It was exactly as I had expected. Nothing very fance but very clean and modern. It was near the highway and that caused some noise concerns. The continental breakfast was present but not as fully stocked as possible. There was no juice options available except for apple. There was no fruit. The pastries were not as fresh as expected, but edible.

“GOOD HOTEL”

The staff was very friendly and couterous. Only think that could have been better was the breakfast, only toast, bagels, muffins and ceral. Hotel was clean.

“Great value and comfort for short stay.”

I was touring the area on a motorcycle. Just needed a place to sleep. The room was a little dated but was clean and comfortable. A great value.

“Great pillows!”

The bed and pillows were soooo comfortable. We were right by the train tracks though -- I did hear the train but we didn't vibrate and it didn't keep me awake at night. I wish there was a special discount for large families. We always have to book two rooms for a family of seven and it is very hard on the budget. Thank you for the clean and pet-friendly non-smoking room!!!

“Very Decent Motel”

The hotel was well maintained, the room was clean, and the bath towels were large. The last minute savings price was a bonus. For a budget motel, it was just fine.

“Good for the money!”

The hotel was good for the price. Myself and at least one other guest received a call from someone trying to get our information and credit card numbers..They were obviously crooks..

“Nice enough”

The hotel seemed clean enough, but it was hard to tell since it is not really kept up. A chair in the room was falling apart. Breakfast left MUCH to be desired - there was not much selection. For instance the only cereal they had was Fruit Loops. Staff were very nice and personable.

“good value, location”

There are more expensive hotels at this I-70 location but I only needed a place to stop off to and from the Indy 500. The cleanliness of the room and the adequate furnishings more than made up for the so-so upkeep of the property's exterior. The only negatives I noticed was scaldingly hot water from the tap and somewhat indifferent service from the staff. Regarding the trains and train noise, it is not oppressive but rather adds charm and character to the place. This is not the hotel to propose marriage at or to hold an important sales meeting, but a great stopover spot.
