The house keeper to my room always forget to put soap, lotion and other essentials. I have to be going to the lobby to demand for it.

Basic Motel

It served its purpose, don't expect anything higher. We stayed to visit King's Dominion and it was located several miles away, the beds were fairly comfortable but the establishment itself is very runned down, otherwise I would stay there again because of the price!

We chose this hotel due to #1) proximity to Kings Dominion #2) they are pet-friendly and #3) the price. We were a little leery when we saw the exterior - it appears run down and dated. However, our room was impeccably clean and the owner, Mr Patel was very nice. He personally greeted us as we were unloading our bags and checked to make sure everything was okay. There was no smell at all in our non-smoking room. The air conditioning system was quiet and odor-free. I have asthma and was very comfortable in the room. It is a bit dated and you can see the wear-and-tear on the tile and some of the walls, but it was a bargain price. I would stay here again.

Best bang for the buck ....

Me & my family were very satisfied from our stay . The hotel is 5 miles from kings dominion which was nice and there are many great restaurants in the area too. In a area of overpriced options to choose from , this affordable hotel is a great value . Pros .. location , dining options, price , customer service .. Cons .. Basic hotel ( did have mini fridge n microwave ) , pool on the smaller side but we still had fun in it .... Overall pros out weigh the cons. If you dont mind more simple stay this is the place for you. We saved over $200 staying here which we used in kings dominion. Trust the extra $ will come in handy there .. as a happy meal is $ 16 each.

It Was a bad decision to choose Econo lodge, beds pretty bad shape, one room had broken bed, I ask for three non-smoking Rooms there was a lot of smoke smell, even in reception area. could not sleep well because a/c units make a lots of noise, common areas not clean either.

Worst part of the trip!

Its in a secluded area. When my friends and i got there, the room smelled awful. We had to air it out for hours. The sheets on the beds didnt even fit the matress. I was afraid i would even catch a disease. Overall it was the worst experience. I would not recommend this place for anyone!

Never again

In a great location to visit Richmond and surrounding attractions but this place is not up to par. The beds are extremely old and solid as rocks. The pillows are flat. I felt like I was staying in a hotel that one would rent by the hour. It was really BAD! Only good thing is that a found a different hotel on that exit that I will be staying at on my next trip.
