The hotel staff was friendly and made the experience enjoyable for the few days I stayed.

I think the pool should have been alot larger and I think that there should have been an ice machine available.

I was very impressed by the care the owner's took during my check-out since I had left directions to the place I was going to on the desk when I checked in the night before. The wife brought out my directions after looking more thoroughly, which was a huge help to me. They went above and beyond for me, though the building next to their hotel greatly detracts from attracting customers.

“A decent hotel for the cost”

I was really impressed with this hotel. I was turned off a little by the outside appearance because it looked run down. However, the room was clean and comfortable. I would definately stay here again.

“Decent Stay”

My family and I recently visited Kings Dominion for 3 days and stayed here. Our other family members stayed at the Super 8. I was impressed with the size of our room and the cleanliness. The Super 8 room was smaller. Our continental breakfast was toast, 2 different cereals, a pre-packaged honey bun, milk, orange juice and coffee. Nothing fancy but ok. If I had to make a complaint it would be the pool. It was green but luckily we weren't there to swim so that didn't matter to me. The Super 8 had a really nice pool and play area for the kids if you need that. We really could't complain for the money and the gentleman working were very nice.

the motel was 2/3 the price of others in the area. for a night of sleep OK.

Ok as a one-day stay hotel, more like a motel for limited stay-in time.

The only thing I can tell you good about this hotel or should I say Motel is the room was clean. This is the short list of bad things. A/C takes for ever to cool and smells. To much furniture in room (cramped). Shower fixtures all loose can almost pull out of wall if you don't watch. Was one of 5 cars in parking lot and staff put a whole family in the next room with paper thin walls.Pool was disgusting. One staff member spoke english.

“Will never stay there again”

The hotel needs alot of updating. We stayed in a non-smoking room and the room had a very bad odor. Lucky I had some spray in my car. If they took the time to paint the rooms and make some updates the place wouldn't be bad.
